Wednesday sat in the police station across from Sheriff Santiago being questioned about the events that just occurred.

"What were you doing at Galpin's house?"

"He asked me to stop by."

"In the middle of the night?"

"What were you doing there, Sheriff?"

"Turns out, the last person to have his eyes pecked out called Galpin right before he died." Sherrif Santiago revealed, referring to Carl Bradbury. "You remember him. I wanted to know what they had discussed but Galpin wasn't answering his cell. A phone that has since vanished. There was no trace when we searched Galpin's house. You wouldn't know anything about that, would you?"

"I didn't take his phone. And why are you questioning me? Galpin's son, Tyler, is a psychopath who hates his father. Who's to say he didn't orchestrate this?" Wednesday theorized.

"Tyler is safely locked away at Willow Hill. And you were at both crime scenes. What aren't you telling me, Mr. Addams?" The Sheriff wanted to know.

"Volumes, no doubt."

They both turned to see Gomez entering the office. "You could dangle him over a pit of rattlesnakes, and he still wouldn't tell you his secrets. Trust me, I've tried."

"I'm allowed to question your son, Mr. Addams." Santiago reminded him. "You can sit back there, quietly."

Gomez handed her a card. "I'm also his lawyer. And I don't do anything quietly. If you wish to speak to my client again, you'll need a court order. Have a good night."

With that, both Addams men walked out of the precinct, leaving behind a very disgruntled sheriff.

...

The next morning, Pugsley quietly crept out of the Hummer shed, hoping to not be spotted, but his hopes were quickly crushed as Eugene approached him.

"You weren't there at lights out last night. Don't worry, I didn't tell Ajax. What were you doing in the Hummers Shed?" Eugene wondered. "Please tell me you weren't eating my bees like your creepy uncle." He pleaded.

Puglsey grimaced. "I know we aren't exactly friends, but can you keep a secret?"

Eugene pushed past him and entered the shed. "I swear, if even one of my bees is missing, I'm telling Wednesday—!"

Eugene's sentence died in his throat when he saw the zombie chained up in the corner of the shed, a hole in his skull and his skin nearly decomposed.

The zombie lunged at Eugene, but Pugsley zapped him. "Down boy!"

"What is that?!" Eugene exclaimed, having to take a puff of his inhaler.

"The coolest thing ever!" Pugsley announced. "Now we have a pet and a best friend! Watch this, it gets cooler." He pulled back the zombies coat to reveal the left part of his chest to reveal a mechanical heart. "Remember that story Ajax told us the first night here? It's all true. I jump started his clockwork heart and brought him back to life!"
