Slurp stumbled through the crowd at pilgrim world, pushing past people, looking around.

He wandered into the Haunted Hacienda, and fumbled around in the darkened room. Several fake props jumped out at him, making him jump and stumble, getting overwhelmed. He backed into a man, who shoved him away.

"Hey, watch where you're going! What's the matter with you? Freak." The man spat.

Slurp didn't take kindly to the insult and grabbed the man by the collar, unhinging his jaw and clamping his teeth down on his head.

...

Miss Arlene stood outside the Haunted Hacienda watching the mariachi band play when a man ran out of the building, screaming.

"I told the team to really amp up the scares this year." She bragged.

More and more people stumbled out of the house screaming and running. Miss Arlene frowned, realizing something was wrong and ran inside.

"What in the johnnycakes is going on?" She demanded to know.

She saw Slurp knelt down on the ground and mistook him for an employee. "Your job is to spook people, not make them poop their pants." She reprimanded.

Slurp turned to her, mouth unhinged and long tongue hanging out. Realizing he wasn't an employee, she began to scream.

...

Gomez and Pugsley walked through the grounds, not seeming fazed by the screaming people running for the exit.

"There's a killer zombie in the Haunted Hacienda!" A man shouted in warning.

Pugsley's eyes widened. "Slurp?"

He went towards the Haunted Hacienda, but Gomez pulled him back. "Pugsley! This is dangerous."

"Stay here. I don't want you to get hurt." Pugsley told his dad. "Slurp's my friend. He'll listen to me. Wait out here, please. I can handle myself." He promised, zapping electricity from his fingertips.

He ran inside the Haunted House, slowly making his way through the dark halls, lights flashing all around him.

A robotic monster jumped out of a closet but Pugsley zapped it, making it malfunction. As he crept further inside, he saw the shadow of a figure creep out into the middle of the room. He limped towards Pugsley, but he zapped him, making him fall to the ground.

"Pugsley...stop..." a hoarse voice pleaded.

The figure stood up, stepping into a spot with more light so Pugsley could see his face. Slurp stared back at him, his skin almost fully regrown, except for some around his mouth, revealing his teeth. His hair had grown back for the most part, and he was almost human looking.

Pugsley's eyes widened. "You can talk. And you look human...well, almost."

"The...brains. They brought me back..." Slurp explained.

"This is the sheriff's department!" They heard someone yell from outside. "Whoever's in there, come out with your hands over your head!"
