Wednesday climbed up the stairs to his dorm, deciding to stop at (Y/n) and Enid's room first. He opened the door and entered, (Y/n) and Enid staring at him with surprise.

"Wednesday! I didn't think you were gonna be back for days." Enid exclaimed.

(Y/n) rushed forward and hugged Wednesday tightly, and he was quick to wrap his arms around her.

"I'm so glad you're okay." She whispered.

Wednesday pulled back slightly and leaned down to kiss her, when something in the corner of his eye caught his attention.

Principal Weems was standing by the large window, staring at him with a smile.

"What are you doing here?" He snapped.

"I've come to observe you in your natural habitat."

Enid and (Y/n) followed Wednesday's eyes, but didn't see anyone there.

"Uh...I live here, remember?" Enid responded, concluding he must be talking to her. "But if you guys want privacy, all you gotta do is ask. I can leave a scrunchie on the door."

(Y/n) shook her head. "No, that's okay Enid." Then she looked to Wednesday. "How are your injuries?"

"Fine, Cara Mia. The pain reminds me that I'm still alive." He replied.

"Your mom said you were staying at the cottage to recuperate." Enid commented.

Wednesday walked past them to Thing's trunk where he had a welcome home sign for him.

"There's no time for that. Tyler is still out there."

(Y/n) furrowed her brows. "I thought Sheriff Santiago said he's either dead in a ditch from the gunshot wounds or long gone."

"He's alive. He's in Jericho." He faced (Y/n). "I need you to pack up and go to my family, tell them to take you back to the mansion."

"You want me to leave? Why?"

"He has plans to kill both of us. I'm going to fix it." He told her bluntly.

"Fix it? You're the reason he escaped." Enid reminded him.

"Enid!" (Y/n) scolded

"She's got a point." Weems added, now sitting on Enid's bed.

"I'm not scared of Tyler." (Y/n) insisted.

"Yeah! I took him down once, I can do it again." Enid promised.

"There's not a full moon for another week. You got lucky." Wednesday snapped.

"Wednesday!" (Y/n) chastised.

Enid stared at Wednesday with a look of hurt on her face. "What do you mean lucky? I still have the scars from that fight."

"Tyler had you pinned against a tree and was going to rip your throat out until Galpin shot him. I read the police statement."
