Wednesday, Enid, and (Y/n) stood on a balcony looking down at the quad where Sheriff Santiago was addressing her officers. After the death of Professor Orloff by Isaac, she put herself in charge of campus security.

"I think we can all agree that Santiago and her crew have no chance against two Hyde's and a brain-eating zombie." (Y/n) said.

Wednesday wrapped his arm around her waist. "Your newfound cynicism is refreshing, Cara Mia."

She shrugged. "I learned from the best."

He looked down at her and she looked up at him with a smile as they both shared a kiss. Enid, of course, taking her phone out to snap a picture for her scrap book.

Agnes suddenly appeared next to them, holding a folder. "Nice try telling me to stay invisible." She told Enid.

Enid glared at her, when Agnes held a finger up to her lips. "Shh, save your apologies."

Enid scoffed. "I'm not even a little bit sorry. And you should be grateful we came to rescue you."

"Speaking of apologies, I think I'm owed one from you for trying to get Wednesday to cut me off and I still showed up to help you." (Y/n) scowled. "Even with the premonition I'd die."

Agnes at least had the decency to look ashamed at that. "Sorry."

"You're lucky she has forgiven you already." Wednesday said, his voice calm, but his eyes held a murderous gaze. "Because I was ready to rip your tongue out. And I will if I ever hear you utter one bad word about her."

Agnes nodded meekly, keeping her head down.

"And the premonition has changed." Wednesday said.

"Wait, so I no longer die?!" (Y/n) asked, the hope evident in her tone.

Wednesday looked away from her, his eyes dropping to the ground.

(Y/n)'s face fell. "Oh, come on!"

"And now there's someone else who dies. An Addams. Which is why I need to flush out Isaac and the Galpin family before he gets to mine." Wednesday squeezed (Y/n)'s hand as he said that last sentence.

"Your search may start closer to home." Agnes spoke up, handing him the folder.

He took at and realized it was Isaac Night's file.

...

Morticia and Gomez sat at a table in the cottage enjoying a lovely lunch of cooked rats when Wednesday walked in and slammed the folder on the table, glancing between his parents with silent anger.

"What has your hair in a twist, my little tempest?" Gomez wondered.

"The latest exhumation from the growing secrets you've been keeping from me." Wednesday told them through gritted teeth. "Not only have you known the identity of Pugsley's zombie..." he turned to his father. "Isaac Night was your roommate."

"He was more than that. He was my closest friend." Gomez told him.

"Your father was the only one who could charm his way into Isaac's clockwork heart."
