WHAT A PREDICAMENT THEY had found themselves in. And to think, the idea of a prison riot was so exciting less than a few hours ago. Well, to be fair, she was still very excited. This was the most fun she had had since the last time she was shot, but she could do without a bullet in her today. Maybe Doctor Bailey would like to hear that? Hunter was sure that little tidbit of information would intrigue him, and not at all end with her undergoing a mandated psychiatric evaluation.

A frown etched its way into her face as she stood next to Eddie and across from Buck, hovering over the near lifeless body of the prison guard, "Sure I can't try that move I saw on cops?" she whispered out through gritted teeth as her eyes glanced around her frantically.

She wasn't surprised when her words didn't elicit a response, but Hunter rolled her eyes nonetheless. Buck gritted his teeth, a small trickle of blood trailing down his forehead from where the inmate had slammed a glock into his head. For that, Hunter would kill him. She made that silent promise long ago, and he would come to find out about it sooner rather than later.

"I can't see anything," Eddie said as he tried to look past the blood flowing out of the guard's mouth. His tone was harsh; if Hunter didn't kill this man Eddie sure would for threatening his son. Eddie took in a heavy breath, soon enough, the gasping and gagging of the guard choking on his own blood filled the silent, tension-filled ambulance.

"Is he all right?"

"Other than choking on his own blood?" Eddie bit back. Hunter frowned. How come he got to be moody with their kidnapper, and she didn't? "Buck, hand me the yankauer suction tube."

The awful choking sound continued to echo off the ambulance walls as Eddie tried to remove the blood from his airway. "Hey, just make sure he doesn't die in here," the inmate warned the three once more.

"Oh, what's with the change of heart? Don't want to kill the guy you beat to death anymore?" Hunter said as she slowly turned to look at the inmate.

The glock raised again, "If I wanted this guy dead, he'd be dead. I kept him alive. Now, you do the same."
