HUNTER JOLTED AWAKE, HEART pounding as the ringing sound filled the air. In a panic, she reached out for the bedside table, moving to open the drawer but the gentle voice followed by a soft hand laying on her should stopped her, "It's just my phone," Buck assured her, his voice tired.

With a sigh, Hunter laid back down, her head slamming into the plush pillow as she ran a hand over her face. With her heart still racing and labored breathing, Hunter looked over at Buck, "Hello?" he answered the late night call, "Maddie, hey. Uh, thank God. Are- are you okay?" Buck stammered, sitting up in bed as he heard his sister's voice for the first time in weeks.

Sitting up, back now leaning against the headboard, she watched as Buck looked back at her in surprise. Hunter struggled to listen to the other end of the call, Maddie's apparent voice far too soft for her ears to pick up.

"Maddie, please just tell me where you are. Okay?" He was almost pleading with his sister. Hunter had seen him the past few weeks, blaming himself for both her and Chimney leaving. He never had been able to deal with sudden departure, the fear he felt for being abandoned ran far too deep for Buck to be calm, " I-I can come and get you or I can send Chimney or whatever you want. We just... we need to know that you're safe."

A pause passed, Buck listening intently to the words his sister told him, "I love you, too," He quickly muttered out, almost frozen as he pulled the phone down from his ear, the screen black as the call ended.

Reaching out, Hunter laid a hand on his bicep, "Is she okay?" she asked gently, his face still in a state of shock .

Looking back, he slowly nodded, "Yeah, I think so," he admitted, head cocked to the side as he thought to himself, "I think I know where she is."

"Buck..." She trailed off, unsure of if he was simply fooling himself. The last thing she wanted was Buck filling himself full of false hope only to be torn down once more.

"No, no," he told her with a shake of his head, "I visited her back then, when she was a nurse, okay?" he asked, making sure Hunter was following his train of thought, "In Boston, there was this church bell that rang every hour, on the hour and - and I heard it, I know it did."
