Connection Between Space Race and The Return/Jailbreak

In Space Race Steven left his dad and went in a spaceship. A gem took him against his will on the spaceship and he wanted to go back. The spaceship blew up and he returned back to his dad.

In the return Steven rode lion back to the beach and left lion there. He went in a spaceship. A gem took him in the spaceship against his will and he wanted to go back. The spaceship eventually blew up. He returned back to lion.

The parallels show that Lion(Bismuth) is partly Steven's father.

Side Theory: Why didn't Lion fight? Like I said the gem destabilizer was for metals and that it would shatter them. Lion(Bismuth) knew that so he stayed back. He knew that there was a better chance to protect his son by staying alive rather than shatter to pieces.
