Weird Theory

This is a long and weird theory so please bare with me!

Pearl was created around 10,000 years ago on Homeworld. Supported by the fact that she was on the ships to Earth and she remembers humans being hunters and gatherers. 5,500 years ago the first gem war started and Pearl was shown in "Sworn to the sword" fighting with her sword and not her spear. This means that when she was about 5,000 years old she couldn't summon her weapon. The kindergarten was abandoned about 5,000 years ago so this is when Amethyst emerged. In "Historical Friction" the events took place 200 years before now. I don't think that the mop was actually Amethyst. I believe that it was Emerald or the mother centipeetle. The "Amethyst" silhouette was shown with a whip but it was too old looking. Also at this time Amethyst wouldn't be able to summon her whip. The centipeetle can shoot acid and has sharp claws and teeth. It's weapon is incorporated in its body. Shooting acid would mean that it's a long range weapon and the claws mean it's sharp. A whip is both long range and sharp. The centipeetle's reforming form also matches the "amethyst" silhouette.

The fusion in the water lacked a person considering that Rose and Pearl together give it two arms and Garnet gives it two arms making four. I believe that Emerald corrupted making the centipeetle, the creature in the water, and that the gems, Rose, Pearl, Garnet, fused together to defeat her. As shown in the play the gems didn't bubble her so of course it came back at a later time.

Also I believe that Emerald was in the temple fusion not Amethyst. I believe that since Amethyst wasn't around during the first war, she couldn't have been in the temple fusion. The temple fusion was more than likely used during the war to end it. Fusion is a respected tactic as long as it's used in war to defeat your enemies. (As shown with Jasper.) As shown in the picture above I believe the crewniverse was hinting at it when they drew the claw facing the center gem and having a diamond drawn on the gem. The gem on the temple fusion's chest also doesn't match Amethyst's. It's oval like the pattern on the Centipeetle's gem.
