"I had someone that was always there for me until she started hanging out with you!" Is something that Amethyst screams at Greg. She then changes to Rose Quartz.
She did that to rub in the fact that Rose left Greg for bismuth and fused with Bismuth. Something that Greg always wanted to do.
"Hey Greg! Check it out!" She taunts him with the sight of his lover and another fused together. Something he could never accomplish.
Think about this. Why would Amethyst taunt Greg with the sight of his "dead" lover? She's not that cruel. She also misses Rose as well so that's another reason that she wouldn't do it.
