Made to Order: The Perfect Present

Peridot said that Pearls were made to order. Rose seems to kind to buy a servant for herself. So Yellow Diamond purchased one for her. This may seem farfetched until you see my reasoning.

All of the gems have a star pertaining to their color palette. All but Pearl. Pearl has a yellow star that's not in the same palette. Even before that she had a veil that covered her shoulders and it had a yellow trim round it. Her space outfit has yellow trimmings. Her pilot had a yellow triangle over where her heart would be if she had organs. She is obsessed with being a knight and we see that Yellow Diamond has a broadsword for a weapon in "sworn to the sword." This shows that Pearl was made for Yellow Diamond but given to Rose. This also gives reason as to why she was embarrassed of who she belonged to in "Back to the Barn." She's never been embarrassed of Rose before so why now? This may also foreshadow an episode where Pearl betrays the gems due to her being Yellow Diamond's Pearl.
