I feel that with Jasper's newly found fusion addiction, she'll try to fuse with the corrupt gems she's keeping with her. She wants to win and she'll do anything for more power, even suffer being with Lapis again. She'll probably think she can handle the power the corrupt gem contains and fuse with it, leading her to become corrupt as well.
