Pearl's Dream

In Pearl's dream we see Rose Quartz in the middle of two opposing forces. The sun and moon. Lion has a sun in his room and if Bismuth is one of the elemental leaders, he has a sun in the mural as well. When Lion roars you can see the yin and yang symbol. I thought that was fascinating so I looked up the meaning behind it. Here's what I found-

Yin / Yang : Two halves(Rose and Bismuth) that together complete wholeness(Rose Quartz, perfect fusion). Yin and yang are also the starting point for change. When something is whole, by definition it is unchanging and complete(Rose Quartz). So when you split something into two halves - yin(Rose) / yang(Bismuth), it upsets the equilibrium of wholeness. This starts both halves chasing after each other as they seek a new balance with each other. Lion constantly hanging around Steven.

The word Yin comes out to mean "shady side" like the moon in the picture above and Yang "sunny side" Bismuth/Lion has a sun in his room, on his mural, in dogcopter's room and in the picture above.

Yin Yang is the concept of duality forming a whole. We encounter examples of Yin and Yang every day. As examples: night (Yin) and day (Yang), female (Yin) and male (Yang), male lion. In summary, Yin and Yang means harmony and balance.

Yin(Rose):

Yin is the negative or passive or feminine principle in nature. Yin is more engaging, more inclusive, and more like a nursing(Rose definitely) care. Yin has a very subtle(Rose)and compassionate(Rose) approach, similar to a nursing care(Rose)of a patient which has an emotional attribute of doing things.Yin symbolizes communicating through methods of image and feel.Yin reflects or symbolizes dark, mysterious(keeps secrets from team), passive, and feminine aspects. Yin nature of management is far-sighted.

Yang(Lion/Bismuth):

Yang is the positive or active or masculine principle in nature as per Chinese philosophy. Yang is described as more aggressive(growling at Pearl) and more interventionist. The yang face of managing is masculine in style and resembles a perception of being a great leader. Yang symbolizes communicating through methods of words(lion's roar) and drama. It encourages openness, clear, light, active, and masculine aspects(sounds a lot like Lion). Yang nature of management is short sighted.

Due to these reasons is why I think the Yin Yang symbol of Lion's roar and the sun and moon from the picture above are foreshadowing that Rose Quartz is a harmonious fusion.

Look at the portal yin and yang above! The yin is the dark pink because it is passive and goes under the light pink, yang. Rose is a darker pink than lion.

Also Lion isn't Rose by himself because he growls at Pearl and doesn't let her touch him.
