I’m officially not grounded anymore, and I wanted to come on here and say a few things that I’ve honestly been scared to say for a while now.
Since this story has grown significantly over the years, and since the Wattpad, fanfiction, and My Hero Academia communities have shown me so much love, I owe you all the truth.
First, I want to say thank you. Truly. Every single vote, comment, message, and bit of support means more to me than I can explain.
I’m so grateful for all of you and for how kind and encouraging you’ve been. Having people who care about something I created is something I never take for granted.
That being said, I won’t be able to post as often anymore, for now.
This is not me ending the story. Eighty-nine chapters are a lot, and I still have so much planned for this story and its future. It’s just going to take me longer to get chapters out.
Junior year has honestly been the hardest year for me. My grades are good, but balancing school, family responsibilities, chores, my relationship, extracurriculars like volleyball and dance, and helping out with my dad’s new church has been overwhelming.
Writing every day just isn’t realistic for me right now. (Every chapter is 4000-6000 words).
Because of that, I won’t have a posting schedule. Chapters will be uploaded whenever I’m able to fully finish them.
There won’t be weekly updates or set dates, and I know that can be frustrating. I was really scared to say this because I know some people get impatient, and I worried that readers might stop following the story but I hope you’ll understand.
This slower pace is only temporary. When summer comes, I fully plan on getting back into the grind the way I did during summer 2025.
From now until May, updates will be less frequent, but I will still be posting. And when I do, I promise I’ll put my whole heart into making each chapter as accurate, thoughtful, and enjoyable as possible.
This story means so much to me. Writing has always been a huge part of my life, ever since I was little.
This isn’t about losing motivation, it’s about life getting hectic. So please bear with me, and thank you for your patience, kindness, and continued support.
