You and the girls strolled back from the snack stand, hands wrapped around warm paper cups as the cold nipped gently at your cheeks.
The laughter between the three of you had settled into something quieter now-comfortable, content-as you made your way toward the benches lining the edge of the rink.
Out of the corner of your eye, you caught sudden movement on the ice.
"Look," Jirou nodded toward the rink with a faint smirk, "they're actually skating."
Sure enough, Denki was out there wobbling like a baby deer on stilts while Sero effortlessly glided past him backwards.
Kirishima looked like he belonged in a winter sports commercial-strong strides, that goofy grin on his face like he was living his best life.
Mina snorted, already veering off toward the railing. "I gotta see this up close."
Jirou followed without question, calling out to the boys. "Denki, you look like you're trying to fight gravity and losing."
They didn't even bother asking if you were coming.
Just went, still laughing as Mina yelled Denki's name.
You didn't mind.
Honestly, you were content.
You sipped your cocoa, smiling as you turned your attention back toward the benches-expecting them to be empty.
But they weren't.
To your surprise, Bakugo was sitting there.
Alone.
He sat with his elbows resting on his knees, fingers laced loosely together, his skates placed beside him on the bench.
He wasn't watching the group.
Instead, he was staring out at the rink like he was questioning whether to go in there or not.
Glaring.
At the concept of skating.
You couldn't help the smile that tugged at your lips.
You raised a brow and made your way toward him.

"Hey."
He heard your voice before he saw you, soft and casual like you'd just wandered up without a second thought.
