December 2nd Saturday - 10:39 pm
Momo motioned for all of you to follow her with a gentle wave of her hand, her steps smooth and confident as she led the way deeper into the restaurant.
You weaved through the cozy space, passing tables filled with people laughing, plates clinking, glasses toasting.
The chatter buzzed softly around you, but Momo led you past it all, toward a quieter hallway near the back.
"This way," she said over her shoulder, her voice carrying easily enough for everyone to hear. "We booked one of the private rooms."
You raised your brows a little, glancing at Mina beside you, who just grinned like it was totally normal.
She stopped in front of a dark wooden door that was cracked open slightly, warm light spilling out from inside.
The group naturally slowed to a stop behind her.
You blinked, looking around and then back at her. "You booked a private dining room?" you asked, eyebrows raising.
Momo nodded happily, as if it was the most casual thing in the world. "Of course. It's more comfortable for a group our size."
You shifted your weight slightly, glancing at the polished door. "Aren't these hella expensive?" you asked, half-joking, half-serious, as the others started filing in.
Before Momo could even answer, Mina came up beside you, draping her elbow lazily over your shoulder with a knowing grin. "No surprise, honestly. Yaomomo's loaded."
You laughed under your breath, shaking your head as you let Mina guide you forward with the rest.
Inside, the room was warm and softly lit, with a large table set perfectly in the middle.
It wasn't over-the-top fancy, but it definitely screamed reserved for someone important.
