It was just past six and the light outside had already dimmed into that early-winter blue.
Inside your apartment, warm lighting filled the space as you crouched down in the corner of your living room, one hand steadying the food bowl while the other poured in Michi's dinner.
She wasted no time, rubbing up against your legs with a soft 'mrrp' like she hadn't been fed in years, her tail flicking in appreciation.
"Relax," you muttered, amused. "You're not starving."
You brushed a few stray kibbles back into the bowl with your fingertips before standing.
The fabric of your flared jeans stretched comfortably as you moved, your dark brown boots already on, clicking softly against the hardwood.
Your black turtleneck was warm under your brown puffer jacket, and the scarf around your neck pulled it all together-practical, but still cute.
You adjusted your black handbag over your shoulder, then tucked the front pieces of your hair behind your ears again out of habit.
Two thin braids framed your face, subtle but just enough to make it feel like you'd tried.

You glanced at the clock.

Presentable.
Good enough for group pictures, at least, since Mina would absolutely post them without warning.
