Bakugo leaned against the edge of the ring, arms folded again, watching closely.
Mina slipped on the gloves and gave a quick hop on the balls of her feet. "Go easy on me," she said, grinning. "Actually-no. Don't."
You both circled each other, lighter this time.
This wasn't the same energy as you and Bakugo-it wasn't a test of dominance or precision.
It was a rhythm. A game of timing and instinct.
You threw the first jab, and Mina ducked it with a quick side step, letting out a little, "Hah!"
"Fast," you said, adjusting your stance.
"I've got range," she said with a wink.
You traded light hits-controlled, playful but with enough pressure to keep it real.
Mina's style was fluid, full of motion, leaning into agility more than power.
You had the stronger base, but she was slippery-hard to pin down.
She landed a soft punch to your shoulder and stepped back quickly.
"Point for me," she teased.
"Oh, it's like that?"
You moved faster this time, going for a feint, then dropping low for a leg sweep.
She jumped it barely and stumbled back with a laugh.
"Oh damn,"
Kirishima was cracking up from the sidelines. "This is better than anything I've seen on TV lately."
"She's quicker than you'd think," Bakugo muttered, eyes tracking every move with silent analysis.
Mina came in again, and this time you both clashed at the center, gloves tapping hard before she broke away.
"You've seriously leveled," she said between breaths. "Your footwork, your control-your focus. You're like a completely different person."
You smiled, but didn't drop your guard. "Feels like it."
She grinned back. "It shows."
You circled again, then went in for a combo-this time a sharp left-right jab that Mina barely managed to block.
She danced back, hands up.
"Okay, okay!" she said, laughing. "You're actually scary. I love this for you."
