Can it ever be put into words?

Will these words ever transmit

The same purity of love,

The loving embrace of a mother,

Will it ever give life to that moment again?

Are you still alive?

Are you happy?

Are you sad?

Can you feel anything?

Or, do you just transmit feelings?

I've been searching, I never knew.

I never knew that I was always searching,

Throughout the journey, I took on various faces,

Of love, of ache, of anger that doesn't know its place,

And you just kept showing indifference,

I'm just a li'l speck of dust for you, aren't I?

Some people say with pride,

You leave them with a new message every dawn break

How can you be this cruel?

Why can't you talk to all of us?

Did we hurt you? Please say something.

All I've ever known about you

is how distant and cold you can be

You see your tiniest ones being slaughtered,

You see your weakest ones being beaten up,

You see your kindest ones being betrayed,

And yet, you never show your face.

What kind of a mother are you?

Share your pain with us,

Hold us tight in your embrace,

Remember the bond we once used to share,

I'm begging you, please remember the warmth of love.
