Melancholy Blues

The world is spinning,

Arms all around me,

I am loved

Oh, so loved

The music ain't stoppin'

Hugs and kisses,

My existence has a weight

Tears and laughter,

Emotions keep me sane

Maybe there's a meaning

Hamster's wheel, there just might be somethin'

But, it all halts, for a moment however small

Ain't enough lovin' to keep me goin'

One second I'm floating high above

And the crown fits just right

But in another, I'm plummeting

There's just blues and darkness,

Misery and my plight

Woes of loneliness, everything is a mess

It drives me insane,

How can love be all around,

But leave a void in my heart?

Ceaseless cries,

There's something mental inside

Life is lacking, no love isn't gonna cure me

Oh, love is lacking, despite my hearty smiles.
