Infinitesimal Cracks

Broke another glass,

Poked someone in the eye,

Can't put my hair into a knot,

Tying the shoe lace,

'Tis an Herculean task.

Can't wrap my tongue around words,

Can't distinguish a friend from a foe,

Can't stop this river of fear,

And the reddening of all that can be seen.

The ticking bomb throbs,

It pounds against the thin veil of my chest

Palm waters and so do the eyes,

The legs forget they exist, again.

Infinitesimal cracks they are,

Not one but I can see them all

But if you are keen enough,

You see them slip through this flimsy mask.
