The OncoMouse from the infamous prison,

The prison that those long, weird creatures

call "Scientific laboratory",

She escaped, finally.

She jumped into the pocket of an all-white man,

And the all-white man came home,

Staring at my glow in the aquarium,

As OncoMouse leapt out of his pocket.

We come in all colors,

We are born for the joy of humans

A plaything and an eye-catcher,

Our glow keeps their sadness at bay.

I heard OncoMouse was created

to get all their deadly diseases

He helps them create solutions

To evade their demise.

All Onco did was run around,

In the wild, in the home,

And in front of my aquarium.

Something about my glow,

Kept his fragile self in a daze.

Some days, he came up real close,

To stare at my friends and me,

And I stared at him,

Until one day, the all-white man,

Donned in colors, snatched away Onco forever.
