"Oh, so magkakilala na pala kayo?" Vanessa's dad quickly asked as all of them took their seats.

Samuel was then grinning at her, "Yes. We're in the same university too, Mr. Velasco. And actually, Vanessa here is our SSG president." Sabi pa nito habang binibigyan siya ng makahulugang ngiti.

Vanessa was just looking disgusted at Samuel. Ano bang nais iparating ng lalakeng ito sa kanila? What is he up to? Just right now, ang bait-bait ng approach nito sa kanila—where in the reality, Samuel is nothing but a savaged beast. Wala itong puso.

"I know," Tuwang-tuwa naman ang Papa niya nang pinuri siya ng lalake, "And I'm very proud of my daughter."

"Yes, actually, she's really a good leader. A productive president too. A model for all students," Samuel was suddenly saying good things from her.

Hindi naman maiwasan ni Vanessa na maitaas ang kilay niya rito. She was confused why the guy is acting that way. What is this guy trying to do?

"Bakit ngayon ko lang nalaman na parehas pala kayo ng university?" Manghang-mangha pang tanong ng Papa niya sa lalake, "Ano bang course mo, hijo?"

"Political science, 4th year student. Gusto ko kasing maglaw after," Samuel answered dryly.

Vanessa snorted out. Law? Maglalaw ito? Eh sa daming nilabag na batas nito, dapat maging kriminal na ito at hindi abogado. Samuel is saying the opposite things to them yet ito naman ang talagang may ginagawang masama sa iba. Tapos gusto pa nito maglaw? Is he really insane?

"That's great, hijo, just like your parents," Vanessa's father happily said, "Ito naman si Vannie, gusto maging teacher just like her mom too—"

"Uhm," Umubo naman si Vannie kaya hindi ito natapos sa pagsasalita, "I will also pursue law after education, Pa." Sabi niya rin dito. Hindi rin siya magpapatalo rito.

Pati rin naman ang Papa niya ay nagulat dahil sa sinabi niya.

"Oh, really?" Samuel suddenly exclaimed although it was obvious he was being sarcastic, "Kung ganun pala, magiging schoolmates pa rin tayo, Vanessa. I hope you would study the same university with me," She knew Samuel meant something with what he said.

Bigla namang tumunog ang phone ni Mr. Velasco, "Excuse me, si Misis tumatawag." Anito nang makuha nito ang phone saka tumayo mula sa table nila. Ngayon, sina Vannie na lang at Samuel ang natitira sa table.

"What are you trying to do, Rivera?" She asked him irritatingly, "Bakit mo ba ginagawa ito? And you really want to destroy me including my family?"

Samuel Ignacio chuckled, "You're very smart in guessing, huh?" He devilishly grinned.

"Wala ka talagang puso," Madiin na pagkasabi niya rito, "If you want to destroy every inch of me, leave my family alone."

"No," He was still smiling at her, "I want you to suffer first."

"Sorry kung medyo matagal," Bigla namang sumulpot ang Papa niya at bumalik na ito sa table nila.

"Mr. Velasco," Nagsalita naman si Samuel, "About the sponsorship, I'm backing out."

Kaagad namang napahinto silang dalawa dahil sa biglaang sabi nito.

"M-Mister Rivera, akala ko napag-usapan na natin ito why—"

"I'm backing out, Mr. Velasco," The guy just casually said na parang bang normal lang ang lahat, "Nakahanap kasi ang company ng bagong sposponsoran. I hope na it's okay and you'll find replacement na lang." Dagdag pa nito na parang ganun lang kasimple.
