Gabriel walked through the school, gun in one hand and flashlight in the other. He walked lightly, barely a sound coming from his feet.
A sudden sound came from behind him and he spun, holding the gun up. But it was only a little girl.
"Hey what are you doing here?" he asked, hiding the gun immediately.
"I was here to get my school work," she said. She only looked about ten or eleven. "Why are you here? School is finished. Everyone's gone."
"Just helping out the janitor," Gabriel said. "You should be on your way." The girl nodded happily and skipped off. Gabriel watched her go, and then got out the picture in his pocket. It matched the girl he had just seen exactly. "Shit," he muttered and began to run after the little girl.
When he found her again she was backed into a corner, a figure standing in front of her. The figure had ripped clothes and blood covering it. It was holding a hand out, stretching towards the young girls throat. Gabriel raised his gun and shot it, the iron bullet chasing the ghost away for a few moments.
Gabriel ran over to the now frightened girl. "Trust me and do as I say," he said quickly. The girl nodded. "Okay, I want you to stay behind me at all times. We're going to get out of here. Follow me."
Gabriel led the girl through the school, watching for the ghost to return. The ghost was of a boy murdered by a bunch of kids, in what was supposed to be a friendly game. He was killing everyone who caused his death, and this girl was the last remaining one.
The ghost boy did return, but threw Gabriel against the wall with a flick of his hand. Gabriel was stuck there, watching as the boy advanced on the girl.
As Gabriel stood there helpless, the ghost suddenly burst into flames, screaming. A few moments later Gabriel was released from the wall and sighed in relief.
"Cutting it a bit close huh Cassie," he muttered.

Gabriel returned the girl to her family, cleaning up any evidence of the ghosts presence. He went back to the motel room, where Castiel was waiting for him.
"Castiel, seriously, we almost died."
"Digging graves are hard," Castiel muttered. "And time consuming." Gabriel sighed.
"Well we lived, that's what counts. Where are we headed next?"
"I've heard of some weird sightings a few towns from here. Someone said they saw an angel."
"Yeah right. Angel's don't exist."
"Say what you want Gabriel, but we need to check this out. Most likely it's just something posing as an angel."
Gabriel nodded. "We'll leave tomorrow then."

They drove for hours the next day, in Castiel's car, an Impala. Gabriel had convinced him to buy it, saying if they needed a car then why not be classy about it?
When they got to the town they found a motel and booked a room for the night. Castiel got down to start researching while Gabriel went out to talk to the people claiming they saw the angel.
If it had just been one person they would've let it go. But no, three different people all said they saw the angel. None of them were connected in anyway other than they had all seen the angel at the same place.
Gabriel went out to the first person. A woman, maybe in her mid thirties. Gabriel knocked on the door and waited for her to open.
"Hi," he said when she did. "I'm Rory from Gallifrey Magazines. I was wondering if I could ask you a few questions about the angel sighting?"
