"Dean no."

"Caaassssie why?"

"Dean we're in an apocalypse. I'm not playing monopoly with you."

Dean pouted at Cas. He was lying on the bed, his wings stretched out across the room. Cas was sitting cross legged on the bed, looking at Dean with his arms folded.

Dean lazily folded one of his wings so it hovered above his face, and poked at the feathers softly. "Wings are weird."

"You are a child," Cas muttered. Dean shrugged and sat up.

"Come on Cas, I just don't want to fight," he said. "You shouldn't either. You could die."

"I'll die if it's to save others," Cas said. "I'm willing to make that sacrifice."

"But I'm not," Dean muttered.

"It's not your choice," Cas said. "Especially when you're acting like a selfish baby."

Dean went silent for a second. "But...it'd be my choice if I was normal...it'd be my choice to save you and for me to die instead...but you said it isn't..."

Cas gave Dean a confused look, wondering where he was going with this.

"It'd be my choice because I love you," Dean said. "But if you're saying it's not my choice then you're saying I don't love you."

"What Dean no," Cas said. "Dean I didn't mean that."

"You think that coz I'm a child I can't have feelings too?" Dean said angrily. "You think it's going to hurt any less when you go out onto that battlefield and die?!"

Cas was silent. Dean just glared before flapping his wings, disappearing from the room.

Cas sighed and walked out of the room, to the main room of the bunker where Sam and Gabe were standing.

"How's Dean?" Sam asked immediately.

"I don't know," Cas said. "He just kind of disappeared. Flew off to God knows where."

"Dammit," Sam muttered. "We really need those wards back on the bunker. I mean where did they even go?"

"If the wards are gone, that means something tried to break in," Gabe said. "And it succeeded..."

The three of them went into silence for a minute.

"Okay," Sam said slowly. "Whatever it is hasn't done anything to us. So maybe if it thinks we don't know it's here, it won't do anything."

"So let's not mention this to the others," Gabe said, finishing the thought.

"You guys and your bond," Cas muttered. "Are you sure that's really smart? If it attacks they won't be prepared."

"Maybe the demon knows something?" Gabe suggested.

"Demon?" Cas asked.

"We went and caught a demon," Sam said. "It's in the dungeon."

"I don't even want to know," Cas muttered, before walking off in the direction of the dungeon.

The demon had finally woken up and was scowling up at them with black eyes.

"We can either make this painful or excruciatingly painful," Sam said. "What'll it be? Tell us what you know."

"Never," the demon spat. Sam sighed and Gabe walked over to the demon, angel blade in hand.

"I said tell us what you know," Sam growled, standing over the demon as Gabe scraped the knife across the demons arm. The demon made some sort of screaming sound but didn't say anything.
