"How the hell do we find Death?"
"We don't," Sam said to Gabriel. "We wait for him to want to be found."
"What if he doesn't want to be found?"
"Then we try drastic stuff," Dean said. "Which we really shouldn't. Because this is Death we're talking about."
"So we just wait?" Cas asked.
"Yep," Dean said. They were in the main room of the bunker sitting at the table, debating their next move.
"Do we have to wait in here?" Gabe asked. "Not that it isn't cool, but it feels like we're trapped."
"Well if you leave," Sam said, "especially you Gabe, the angels will come after you. Or Cain."
"What happens if you leave?" Gabe asked Sam.
"I'm pretty much the safe one here," Sam replied. Gabe gave him a small smile.
"Great, so we're all prisoners," Dean muttered. "Fun."
"There's ways to pass the time," Gabe said, smirking and glancing at Sam.
"Mental images I do not need," Dean said, standing up and walking from the room. Cas stood and followed.
"Not like you don't do it too!" Gabe called after them, before laughing. Sam just smiled and shook his head.
"You're an idiot," Sam said lovingly.
"You love me," Gabe replied.
Sam opened his mouth to agree before closing it as he felt a spark of fear come from Gabriel's mind. He gave Gabe a curious look, but Gabe just shrugged it off.
"Human thing," Gabe said, before standing and walking out of the room, Sam following behind him.
Sam let out his wings as they walked to their room, the feather tips dragging along the floor behind him. He saw Gabe glance at them out of the corner of his eye and smirked.
"You totally have a wing kink."
"Not gonna argue there Sammy," Gabe said with a smile, reaching out with one hand to stroke the golden tipped brown feathers as they walked. Sam blushed, his wings shivering at the touch. "Your wings seem to act on their own sometimes."
"Angel thing," Sam muttered. "Our wings will react to our emotions and we can't hide it."
"Interesting," Gabe said with a smirk.
"Don't plan evil things."
"I wouldn't necessarily call it evil."
"Whatever you say Gabe."
Gabe just laughed, walking into their room and sitting on the bed, reaching out to Sam's mind with his. Sam just smiled and sent a feeling of warmth through the bond. Gabe jerked when he felt it, surprised.
"What was that?" Gabe asked.
"We have the ability to send emotions through the bond," Sam said. "That was however I feel for you."
"That was..."
"I don't secretly hate you do I? Coz I don't know what I just sent to you."
"No, it was all warm and happy, like really really happy. And just..." Gabe closed his eyes for a second, and Sam felt a bit of a warm feeling seep through the bond. "I'm not good at this."
"You'll learn," Sam said, smiling and holding onto the warm happy feeling. He moved to sit on the bed beside Gabe, one wing folding around him gently on instinct. "So what was that?"
