Dean walked into the motel room, pretty much slamming the door open. He saw Sam and Gabriel in the room, both seemingly bored and doing nothing.
"Sammy where the hell have you been?" Dean asked.
"Here," Sam said.
"Well obviously but why?"
"Couldn't fly out."
"You could've summoned me."
"True."
"Why didn't you?"
"Couldn't be bothered."
"Since when are you the lazy one?"
"Since I can."
"To be fair Deano," Gabe said. "He did save our lives."
"Yeah but you're humans, I really don't care about you."
"I do," Sam said. "So I saved them."
"And severed your grace in the process," Dean said. "Do have any idea how long that takes to heal?"
"Yes," Sam said, almost hesitantly. "But..."
"But what?" Dean asked. Castiel had moved to sit next to Gabriel and they watched the two angels talk.
"It's not taking as long as it should. I was able to use my grace, even if it was just for a moment."
"That makes no sense."
"I know."
Dean just shrugged. "Well we're leaving, you're going to help clean up the mess you made. You pretty much made a beacon for all demons."
"Well sorry," Sam said...sarcastically. Dean just stared.
"Was that...sarcasm? Maybe I should leave you here, these hunters are having a good effect on you."
"Okay," Sam said, shrugging. "I don't mind staying here."
"I wasn't being serious, we're leaving." Dean walked over to Sam and put a hand on his shoulder. Gabe heard the sound of wings and then they were just gone. Sam was gone.
"Well that was a thing," Castiel said. "No more angels I guess." Gabriel was silent. He'd kinda liked Sam.

Sam and Dean appeared in a room. Oh and there were demons everywhere. Dean let his wings out and let his grace glow through them, killing all the demons instantly.
"See what you've done?" Dean said.
"Sorry," Sam said. Dean walked over to the table where they originally had the spell set up.
"There was just enough grace to finish the spell," Dean said. "So we have the location of the angel tablet. But I think we should leave the rest to heaven."
"Probably," Sam said. "Who should we call?"
"Apparently Adam is in charge of these sorts of things these days," Dean said. "Do you think he'll listen to us?"
"They said they wouldn't block us out, so probably."
"You call, he always liked you better."
"Fine. Adam you listening? We know you've lost the angel tablet, and we've tracked down its location."
Moments later there was the sound of wings and Adam stood in the room.
"Good to see you again, Sam, Dean," he said, and walked over to the table. "Thank you for this, we were having a lot of trouble with this."
