Dean burst into the bunker, getting the attention of the other three beings in there. They all ran to the main room, thinking something was wrong with the noise Dean had made.
"Dean what the hell?" Sam asked.
"I'm back," Dean said.
"Well obviously but what's with all the noise?"
"Wanted to make an entrance."
Sam rolled his eyes. "Anything happen?"
"Yeah I had all of heaven on my ass. Adam included. Tried to talk me into blackmailing you guys."
"You didn't agree did you?" Cas asked.
"No, otherwise I wouldn't tell you," Dean said. "Anyway, he did mention the rings."
"The horseman rings?" Sam asked. "You know how hard it'll be to get those."
"Horseman?" Gabe asked. "Like, the four horseman of the apocalypse?"
Sam nodded. "War, Famine, Pestilence and Death."
"And what do the rings do?" Cas asked.
"They open the door to Cain's cage," Dean said. "So we can push his sorry ass back in."
"We'd never be able to do that," Sam muttered. "Not unless..."
"Unless what?" Gabe asked Sam. Sam looked sadly at Gabriel.
"Not unless he was possessing you and you jumped in."
"Oh hell no."
"Is there any other way?" Dean asked.
"We'll figure it out later," Sam growled. "For now let's just get the rings."
"War would be the first to show up," Dean said. "Sammy go find him."
Sam just rolled his eyes before walking out of the bunker.
"You guys don't fly out," Gabe said. "Why?"
"Can't," Dean said. "Warding doesn't allow it."
"So that means Sam can't just fly back in," Gabriel said. "What if he gets caught trying to walk through that door?"
"He won't," Dean said. "Have a little faith in your boyfriend." There was spite in his voice, and he turned on his heel, leaving the room.
"He's a jerk sometimes," Gabe said to Cas. "Why do you even like him?"
"He's only a jerk to you," Cas said, before also walking out of the room.
Gabriel sighed, and sat down in a chair. He closed his eyes, and in his mind tried to feel for the bond between him and Sam, subconsciously putting a hand over Sam's handprint on his hip to help. When he found the bond, he pushed into Sam's thoughts, getting a read on what was currently happening.
Sam appeared to be fine. Gabe could pick up names and locations from his thoughts, and then an interesting discovery of a town overrun be demons. Sam flew to the town...and then his thoughts cut out, leaving Gabe with blackness.
Gabe opened his eyes in panic. "Dean! Something happened to Sam!" Dean was back in the room within an instant, Cas too.
"What?" Dean yelled. "What happened?!"
"I was in his thoughts, and then everything just cut out. Like he'd been knocked out or something," Gabe said. "He found a town overrun by demons, had just flown there."
"It's War," Dean said, already walking out the door. "Hurry up and get over here, we're taking a shortcut."
Gabe and Cas ran out of the bunker, Dean sealing the door behind them. Dean immediately grabbed both of their arms.
