13 - 4th Season All Over Again

"Goddammit Sam why won't you come back?"

Sam scowled as Gabe's voice came through in prayer. He hadn't had the heart to block him out...even after all that Gabe had said.

"Saaammmmy. You know I can keep annoying you right? I know you're listening. Maybe I'll start singing Disney songs to you."

Sam just sighed and tried hard not to listen as Gabriel started singing Let It Go.

Cas walked into the room where Gabriel was singing quietly under his breath. Disney songs. Weirdo.

"Has Dean been back?" Cas asked. "That was days ago that he left."

"Nope, haven't seen him," Gabriel said, before going back to singing.

"I hope he's okay..."

"Yes, worry about your boyfriend and not anything else that's going on in the world," Gabriel muttered.

"What's that supposed to mean?"

"I...don't actually know. I have no idea why I said that."

"Well you are bonded to Sam, maybe it was part of his knowledge. Do you think it would be possible to go through his thoughts?"

"That would be intruding. I currently don't think that's a good idea."

"Well is singing Frozen helping?"

Gabe was silent for a moment before sighing. "Fine." He closed his eyes, and was in deep concentration for a few minutes. His eyes shot open eventually, and Cas was still staring at him.

"Anything?"

"He was so pissed. He kicked me out."

"Oh."

"After I got a few words. Something about 66 seals and the first one being broken."

"Isn't that something from the Bible?"

"I don't know, is it?"

"I asked you."

"Yeah and then I asked you."

"And then I asked both of you."

Gabe and Cas jumped as Dean appeared next to them.

"Where the hell have you been?" Cas asked.

"Uhh heaven? I haven't been gone that long, it was only a few minutes."

"Time passes differently on Earth," Gabe said, and Dean just stared.

"I know you can go through Sam's thoughts, but seriously?"

"Yeah. Also do you know anything about the 66 seals?"

Dean stiffened, clenching his jaw. "Yes. Why?"

"Apparently one has been broken."

Dean didn't say anything, just vanished from the room.

"Seriously?" Cas said. "I just got him back."

"Sap," Gabe muttered.

Sam flew into the room where Cas and Gabe just looked in confusion.

"Okay so one angel leaves and another appears?" Cas asked. Gabe was just staring.

"Gabriel." Sam took a step forward. "Did Dean tell you how?"

"Actually it was Cas," Gabe said quietly. "Dean had no part in this."
