Castiel watched as Dean impatiently paced the room. "Dean I don't think this is helping."
"Well then what will help? You're hunters, figure it out already."
"Actually I think Sam's idea was good. So we aren't going to fix this. Sam can if he wants to."
Dean pretty much just growled and continued pacing the room. Gabriel just sighed and looked back at the papers on the table.
"We have another case," he said. "Demons I think. Shouldn't be too hard."
"Where?" Castiel asked.
"Couple of days drive form here," Gabriel replied.
"Can't we just fly?" Dean asked.
"And leave the Impala?" Cas said. Dean sighed.
"Even I can't argue with that," he muttered. "Can I at least drive?"
"No."
"Please?"
"No."
"Why?"
"Baby's mine, you're not touching her."
"You named your car...humans are weird."
"Yeah we are," Gabriel said. "Now hurry up and get all our stuff Cassie, we're going on a road trip."
~~
Sam walked around the room, pacing just as Dean had been doing. It was something they both did quite a lot. He was waiting for his grace to heal. It hadn't even been properly healed in the first place.
He didn't know exactly what Dean was doing, but from Gabriel's prayer he could tell he was pissed. If he showed up, Dean would probably smite him.
"Sam, will Dean murder us if we put him in a car for several days?"
Sam smiled as he heard Gabriel's voice echoing in his head. He now constantly listened for Gabriel's prayers, screw the rules.
"I don't even know the point in asking you, I mean it's not like you can reply. Anyway, how are you going over there with the demons and crappy grace and stuff? Yet again, a question you can't reply to. Dean's being overprotective about you, thinks you're gonna die. You better not die, coz we need you to fix your pain in the ass brother. It's just endless complaining. And pacing. I mean come on."
Sam just laughed as he listened to Gabriel. He knew Dean would do this.
"Also the arguing between him and Cas. By the way, Cassie agrees with you about the whole bond thing. I would if Dean wasn't annoying. Really. I can't stress that enough. Your brother is annoying as hell."
"Trust me Gabe, hell is much worse," Sam said, despite Gabriel not being able to hear him.
"Anyways, maybe I'll talk to you later if you're lucky."
"You would even if I wasn't lucky."
~(Guys there's a bird outside my window and it's staring at me)~
Castiel bit his lip to stop himself shouting at Dean. Because Dean was being annoying.
"Are we there yet?"
"For the last time, no."
"Are we almost there?"
"No Dean."
"How much longer?"
"Two days now would you shut up?"
"No."
