"So, anything come up?" Cas asked, walking into the room where Sam and Dean were lounging around all the technology of the bunker.
"We think we have a lead on Famine," Sam said. "A town west of here, unexplainable deaths resulting in what appears to be people eating each other, eating too much food, or generally just dying from something they couldn't control."
"What exactly does Famine do?" Castiel asked. "We need to be prepared."
"We can take care of it," Dean said. "You and Gabriel will easily be infected by him."
"It'll make anything you desire turn into a hunger that you can never fill," Sam said. "Looking into Gabe's mind, he's going to die from overdose on sugar if he goes any near Famine."
"What?" Gabe asked, walking into the room. "Really? That's what I want?"
Sam snapped his fingers and a lollipop appeared in his hand. Immediately Gabe's eyes filled with longing.
"Point taken, now give me the damn lollipop."
Sam chuckled and threw the lollipop to Gabriel who smiled thankfully.
"Dude, why do you snap your fingers?" Dean asked Sam.
"My bad," Gabe said. "Something I used to do when I would prank people. I assume he got it from me."
Sam smiled and Dean rolled his eyes.
"But," Castiel said. "Why won't you two be infected?"
"Angels," Dean said simply.
"Actually," Sam said. "He has a point. I'm bonded with Gabriel..."
"And which way did that bond go?" Dean asked. "You human or him angel?"
"Him angel," Sam said. "But that doesn't mean I don't think like him. Which means technically you're the only safe one."
"Even so, not true," Dean said. "If we're going by bond logic. I had one before, it can still effect my mind." Cas looked down awkwardly at that.
"So none of us are safe," Sam said, sighing. "Guess we're all going then."
"Great," Gabe said. "Another near death experience. How fun."
"I know that was sarcastic but you still sounded way too happy," Cas muttered.

They went to the town, and could see the effects everywhere. People stuffing their faces with food, others grossly making out. Some were breaking into places and stealing money while others were doing god knows what.
"Everyone feel okay?" Sam asked as the four of them walked into the dying town.
"Yep," Gabe said. "No excessive need for candy yet. Hey Samantha, what exactly is your desire that'll be used against you?"
Sam was silent and Gabe gave him a concerned look.
"So what's our plan here?" Dean asked. "We don't know where Famine is."
"Chances are he's got demons with him too," Sam said. "I can sense them."
"I say we split up to find him," Dean said. "The faster the better. The moment anyone has a location you tell the rest of us, so we don't face him alone."
The three agreed, and they went in four different directions.
Sam walked through the town, glancing around. People were dead on the streets, others still suffering the effects. Sam however felt nothing. That is, until he actually found Famine easily.
