"Dean what..."
"I don't know Cas. You're the human here."
"Do I seriously have to babysit you through all of this?"
Dean just sighed, shifting again uncomfortably. "Yeah I think so."
Cas sighed but Dean could tell he was trying not to laugh. "We still have the bond right?"
"We should," Dean said. "Go through my head and tell me what's wrong."
Cas closed his eyes, concentration. And then burst out laughing.
"Oh my god Dean," Cas said, breathless and still laughing. "That's what's been bothering you?"
"What?"
"You need to go to the toilet you idiot."
"Oh." Dean looked away, slightly embarrassed. "Yeah. Um. I'll just...go do that then." Cas just laughed as Dean walked out of the room.
"He's an idiot," Gabriel said, walking into the room. "You seriously like that guy?"
"Yep," Cas said with a cute little smile. Gabe just shrugged.
"Have you seen Sam?" he asked.
"No, why?"
"I need to...talk...to him."
"Are you harassing him?"
"Nope."
Cas just sighed. "He's avoiding you."
Gabe nodded slowly. "I'll go find him then." He walked out of the room, and Dean walked back in. Cas smiled at Dean.
"Don't you dare say a word," Dean growled as Cas almost laughed again. "Being human is confusing."
"It's not that bad," Cas said. "Once you get used to it."
"Yeah but wings. Wings Cas. I had wings."
"Hey I miss the wings too."
"Kinky idiot."
Cas just laughed, leaning against Dean as he sat down.
"How's Sam doing?" Cas asked Dean.
"He's locked himself in his room," Dean said. "Not doing too well with Gabe's situation."
"Gabe keeps trying to find him," Cas asked. "Any idea why?"
"Nope," Dean said. He put an arm around Cas, pulling him close. "We should probably start researching how to get him back."
"Didn't you say Death could?" Cas asked.
"Well yeah...but that should be our last option. We were lucky last time, we might not be this time."
Cas just sighed and nodded. "What about your grace? We're going to get that back, right?"
"Of course," Dean said. "At least, we have to try." He laughed once without amusement. "There was a time where I cared more about keeping my grace than staying with you."
"And now?"
"Dude I have feelings now. I can't not love you."
Cas fell silent for a second. "Dean."
"Yeah I know." Dean smiled slightly. "I love you Cas."
"Is that you or the humanness talking?" Cas asked.
"Both? Because I didn't have the ability to feel anything before, but now that I can...dude I totally fell for you."
Cas laughed. "Hey Dean. I love you too."
