Alyssa's POV

"Are you Alyssa Madden?" A man came up to me. 

"Um, yeah, who are you?" I said, but not in a rude way. 

"Hi, I'm Will Clark, big music producer. I work with Fusion Rock Records. I heard you singing up there and you were amazing!" He said. 

"Thanks." I smiled. 

"So I'll get straight to the point here. I talked to the other producers and we would like to give you a record deal. You in?" Will said excitedly. 

There was shock in my eyes. 

"Seriously? Yes! Definitely!" I said, starting to yell. 

"Great, here is my card, give me a call anytime and we'll set up a meeting." He smiled and walked away. 

"I think you just got discovered!" Alex said, attacking me in a hug. I was speechless. 

I gave everyone hugs but out of the corner of my eye, I saw Austin. He looked sad. He wasn't talking or anything. He just had his hand in his pockets. I waved him over quietly so we could talk.

"What's wrong?" I asked him.  

"I..." Austin said, then sighed loudly so everyone in Spain could hear. 

"You what...?" I replied confused. 

"Look. I'm happy for you and all, but singing is my dream. And to see you get that record deal, it just killed me. I've always wanted to grow up and be a professional singer but, no good opportunities ever come. I'm not really good at anything except singing. I used to be a lot better than everyone else. Now there's nothing I can do better than anyone." He explained. There was a long silence. 

"Austin... I'm sorry I didn't-" I started, put then paused. I couldn't tell what was happening, but then I realized Austin's lips were on mine. Seriously? 

I pulled back and didn't say anything to him. I just turned around and walked away. This can't keep happening.

*Back in hotel room* 

"Hey guys, lets go down to the pool!" Robert bursted. 

"Good idea!" Madison said excitedly. We all got changed to our swim clothes and headed down to the swimming pool in front of the hotel.

Madison and I lounged on the chairs as we watched Austin, Alex, and Robert in the pool, trying to hit on other girls. We just laughed at how dumb they looked. 

"Hey, cute guy coming our way." Madison nudged me. I spun my head around quickly and she was right. I pulled my sunglasses down from my head so it looked like I wasn't watching him. 

"Hey." He said, stumbling over to me.  

Ok maybe he was cute from afar, but now he looks like he's drunk. And he is. 

"Um hi." I replied quickly. He bent down and started to stroke my cheek. I felt very uncomfortable.

"Can you please not do that..." I cringed.

"Why not? You're so beautiful..." He said licking his lips. Ok, now this is really uncomfortable.

"Please stop..." I started getting up but he pulled me down. He was definitely drunk. 

I don't know if I had feelings for Austin, or if it was just a force of habit, but I couldn't help but look over at him to see what his expression would be if he saw this. And he looked furious because he jumped out off the pool as soon as he glanced over. 

"How 'bout we... Go for a date tonight." It sounded more like a demand. 

"How about no." I said annoyed. 

"You know you want this." He licked his lips again and grabbed my face.  

"What are you do-" He pulled my face in and kissed me.  

Ok, now I'm furious. 

"What the hell do you think you're doing?!" I heard from a distance, starting to get closer. 

It was Austin.

I've been going through each chapter and editing them so they don't look as crappy as they were like a year ago,
