After Alyssa left, Robert and Alex came over. What a coincidence.

"Hey man!" Robert countered me with a bro hug while Alex and I did a handshake. We all went to the living room to play Xbox when something was brought up.

"So have you and Alyssa been on a first date yet?" Alex said, eyes glued to the screen as we played COD.

"Actually, yeah. Well, I asked her if she wanted to see a movie or something on Saturday at 5:00." I answered casually.

"THIS Saturday?" Alex completely froze.

"Yeah why?" I raised an eyebrow.

"Doesn't a certain Austin have a certain meeting with a certain record company this Saturday at 5:00?" Alex paused the game.

"Shit." My eyes trailed down to the floor.

There was an extremely long pause.

"You should call her." Robert finally said. And just then, my phone rang. I picked it up and checked the caller ID: Alysaa

"Hello?" I held the phone up to my ear.

"Hey Austin." She said softly.

"What's up?" I asked casually.

"Um, it's about Saturday. I... Can't go. I had something else scheduled and it's at the same time as our date." She explained.

"Oh really? I was just about to call you about Saturday too. I can't go either, I also had something else scheduled at the same time so... Yeah." I replied.

"So I guess we'll just have to go on our first date some other time." She said slowly.

"Yeah, totally." I blinked a few times.

"Ok. Well, I'll see you tomorrow?" She answered.

"See you tomorrow." I said back and then we both hung up.

"Well...?" Robert spoke up.

"She said she also had something on the same day at the same time so we're calling our date off." I answered, turning the game back to play mode.
