Alyssa's POV

One hour into the party and I was bored as heck. Madison and I walked out to the patio and just sat there like non social beings, texting and Instagraming away.

"I ran into Andy when we were in the kitchen..." I said out of nowhere.

"Seriously? He's a jerk!" Madison exclaimed.

"How much longer do we have to be here..." I sighed, looking at a picture Austin posted of him and Taylor eating each other's faces off on Instagram.

"I don't know... What's the party for anyway?" Madison replied, not breaking eye contact with her phone screen.

"No idea..." I said just as the patio door opened. I couldn't tell who it was because one, the patio was huge and two, I wasn't facing the doors.

"I can't wait to go back home tomorrow." Madison put her phone on the table and stretched her arms.

"I know right. I want my bed." I joked, laughing.

"Hey, what are you guys doing out here?" A voice behind me said. I whipped my head around to see Austin. I looked him up and down. Then turned back around.

"Is... Something wrong?" I heard him come closer.

"No there's just a ton of jerks in there." Madison said matter-of-factly.

"Um... Ok. Did you see that picture I put on Instagram? 20000 likes in three minutes!" Austin sat down next to us, or, mostly me.

"Yeah... Looks like a lot of fun..." I rolled my eyes quietly.

"Did you just roll your eyes? Okay, something's wrong. Tell me." Austin stared at me, then at Madison who was already glaring at him. I looked at her for approval to tell Austin about Taylor. She slowly nodded and I turned back to look at Austin whose eyes were like a little puppy's, wanting a treat or something.

"Austin... I have to tell you something about Taylor." I started, trying to put innocence in my eyes. I looked at him closely and he just stared back as a sign for me to continue. "She's... Cheating on you." I twiddled my fingers.

"You're joking, right?" Austin said after a long pause. I shook my head slowly and Madison unlocked her phone.

"I don't believe you." Austin sat up, kind of pissed. I watched as Madison showed him the picture of her and Andy kissing at Starbucks. Austin's facial expression changed rather quickly. He opened his mouth to say something, but then closed it.

"I'm sorry Austin..." I said, my gaze falling to my feet.

"You guys photoshopped that didn't you." He stood up. I don't know why, but I felt like I was about to cry.

"No we didn't. Why would we do that." Madison raised her voice. I turned to her, giving her a signal to be quieter.
