Alyssa's POV

Alex. Alex?

"Hey, you okay?" He looked into my eyes which were about to burst into tears.

"No... Not really." I sighed. He pulled me into a hug and I buried my face in his chest. I felt him rest his chin on my head. I don't know why, but I felt safe in Alex's arms. I let a few tears come out but I didn't want him to see me cry.

"Alyssa..." I heard a voice that sounded like Austin. I pulled away from Alex to see Austin behind him, worry in his eyes. I smiled at Alex and he took it as a signal to leave Austin and I alone.

"Austin I'm sorry for running out. I just-" In a second, Austin's lips were pressed on mine. Again. I slightly gasped and pulled back quickly.

"What's wrong?" Austin cocked his head to the side.

"Stop doing that!" I squinted.

"Stop doing what?" He said, acting innocent.

"Stop kissing me!" I said, realizing how harsh it sounded and that there were a few pairs of eyes on us.

"I'm sorry, you're lips look so kissable!" Austin shrugged, grinning.

"Well they're not!" I bit my lip.

"Well then stop doing that!" Austin replied.

"What am I doing?" I really didn't know.

"Every time you bite your lip or something, you look so adorable and I just want to kiss you." Austin explained. I glared at him for a second, then walked back into the hotel and up to our room.

I plopped myself on the bed and watched as Austin walked in and sat next to me.

Well, if it's the last day of our vacation, I might as well make the best of it.

I turned to Austin who was now looking at me. A small laughed slipped out and Austin raised an eyebrow.

"What's so funny?" He looked at me.

"Nothing." I sat up straight.

I have habit at laughing at everything, by the way. It's a habit I've had since I was six and it has never changed. I don't know why, but I can always find a way to laugh hysterically at something.

Five minutes of silence...

Ok, this if officially boring.

I reach over to my song book and started writing. I tend to hum to myself when I'm trying to think of a song.

"Take my hand

I'll teach you to dance

I'll spin you around

Won't let you fall down

Would you let me lead?

 

You can step on my feet

Give it a try

It'll be alright."

I sang quietly to myself.

"That's a nice song, what's it called?" Austin snapped me out of my thoughts.

"Oh thanks, I wrote it myself. It's called All About Us." I smiled at him.

"Cool. Did you finish it?" His gaze was strong. I thought for a minute, looking at his eyes, but then I lost myself in them.

"Uh, no, not yet." I blinked.

"Well maybe I can help you." He scooted closer to me.

"Well I got the beginning part and the chorus part, I was thinking this song could be a duet with a guy but I can't think of the lyrics." I doodled on the side of the fragile paper. I waited for Austin to say something but when I looked at him, he looked in shock.

"Wait... It's all about us... I wrote a song just like this. The chorus." Austin pointed with wide eyes.

"What... Do you mean?" I looked at the lyrics.

"I mean I wrote a song with the exact same lyrics in the chorus. I thought it could've been a duet too." Austin jumped. "I only wrote the chorus and the guy's part though." Austin looked at his phone.

"Maybe we could put our songs together and finish it?" I suggested.

"Sure." Austin agreed.
