Morgan

"We really need to figure this cake thing out. Like we have to figure it out." They're on their way to the bakery, following behind Harry's car.

Time was dwindling down. Six months turned into four, four months turned into two and now here they were, just a little over a month away from the big day.

And she's completely stressed out.

The venue is set, church ready, marriage counseling grueling but still all done, flowers are found, favors are being made and everything is pretty much all set.

Everything except for the cake and the rest of the desserts.

"Calm down. Everything is going to be fine. We're going to figure it out one step at a time, together. Me and you." He raised their intertwined fingers to his mouth to kiss her knuckles as he drives.

The bakery is a small little shop not too far from central Cheshire. The storefront is red-brown brick with the name splayed across it: Little Sweets.

When they get out Harry is leaned against his range rover. Despite their fight he's been helpful, which is odd but still great.

And Colin had been a bit more protective than usual but she hadn't paid it too much attention. Though he was a bit more tense everytime they were around him. She couldn't be too concerned with that though. Not right now.

El and Sammie are already in the shop waiting for them when they walk in. After greeting eachother Harry leaves then comes back with an older looking woman. She's in her mid fifties and she has grey curly hair with a round face and dully blue eyes. She smiles big at them.

"Morgan, Colin this is Barbara. She's the owner and head baker here." They shake hands.

"Nice to meet you. Congratulations. Hopefully we can find just what you're looking for for your wedding."

"We hope so too."

They throw themselves into different choices. So many different cake and sweet choices that she starts to get a bit sick but she keeps on because they have to get this done.

But, since tradition is tradition, Harry opens his mouth and all hell breaks loose.

"I'm surprised football doesn't have a role in this somehow."

"How would that be included in the wedding plans?"

"Just guessed it would be. So how about the incomplete pass on thursday Colin?"

They lost the game against the rams, not threatening them in the championships but making the window opportunity a bit narrow. Colin was still still a bit down about it.

"A mistake. Next week will be different."

"Right. So does that mean you aren't playing or...?" She visibly sees Colin tense and she rubbed his leg. Out of the corner of her eye she can see Harry smirking big.

"Ignore him. C'mon, help me decide. Ice cream or Gelato?"

He shakes his head and looks down at the binder she's staring at with all of their plans. She does still have to finalize food choices for the catering company though.
