Hello, my beautiful readers! ❤️ It feels so emotional to write this after such a long time. It has been a few years since I stopped writing, and honestly, I never thought I would miss it this much. But here I am, finally picking up my pen again and stepping back into the little world of stories, characters, emotions, love and imagination. ✨

A lot has changed in these years. I also got married and am happily living this beautiful new chapter of my life. ❤️💍 Life took me in a different direction for a while, but somewhere inside, the writer in me was always waiting to come back.

So, I'm starting again with a short one-shot story featuring Abhi and Pragya. ❤️ It's a simple, beautiful story filled with love, emotions, little moments, romance and a touch of drama. Nothing too complicated-just a small story that I hope will make you smile and bring back some of those old feelings. 🥹✨

Character Introduction

Abhishek "Abhi" Mehra - 30, Senior Strategy Manager at a multinational financial-services company. Intelligent, confident and known for his dry sense of humour. He appears completely composed at work, but his closest friends know that he is surprisingly emotional when it comes to the people he loves.

Pragya Arora - 27, a newly appointed Financial Research Analyst. She is sharp, independent, hardworking and outspoken. She doesn't fall for charm easily and has a habit of saying exactly what she thinks, even when the person standing in front of her happens to be her boss.

Rhea Malhotra - 29, Abhi's college friend and senior colleague. She has known Abhi for almost a decade and has quietly loved him for years. She isn't a cruel person by nature, but her fear of losing Abhi makes her cross boundaries she never thought she would.

Kabir Shah - 30, Abhi's best friend and colleague. He is the first person to notice that Abhi's irritation toward Pragya isn't irritation at all.

Naina Arora - 24, Pragya's younger sister, endlessly curious about her sister's love life and far too entertained by Pragya's office problems.

The first thing Pragya noticed about Mehra Financial Solutions was that everyone seemed to be in a hurry.

The second thing she noticed was that nobody seemed to know why.

People rushed through the glass corridors carrying laptops, files and coffee cups, while phones rang continuously and conversations about quarterly reports floated through the air.

Pragya tightened her grip on her folder and looked at the reception desk.

Pragya: "Excuse me, could you tell me where the strategy department is?"
