"Babe." I heard a soft voice whisper in my ear, as I slowly wake up.

"You need to take your meds." Austin said, with a sad smile. One hand moving strands of hair behind my ear and the other rubbing small circles onto my back.

I grumble, rolling over attempting to untangle myself from the blankets. My patience already low, I gave up after a whooping five seconds, looking up at Austin with a grumpy pout.

He chuckled softly, moving over to my side of the bed, lifting me up effortlessly and carried me bridal style to the kitchen, where he sat me on the kitchen counter.

I hissed at the sudden cold, missing the warmth of Austin and our bed. Within the mere minutes it took Austin to get my medicine, I managed to be racked by a coughing fit, worsening my migraine and sneezed a million times.

"I don't feel good." I whined in a very scruff voice, as if complaining was the solution, as I took my prescribed pills.

"I know baby, I know." Austin sighed picking me up off the counter and bringing me back up to our bedroom, sitting me back on the bed.

"Which one first today? The Vow, The Notebook,Dear John, Love & Other Drugs or The Lucky One?"

I chuckled, although it came out sounding more like a wheeze, loving the fact that he knew exactly what I wanted. "The Vow."

He placed the DVD in the player, turning on our TV and grabbing the remote, coming over to bed, where he crawled in next to me.

"There are tissues and cough drops next to you on the bedside table, and I have your inhaler if you need it." He said, wrapping his arm around my shoulders, putting my head up to rest onto his tattooed chest.

"You are perfect." I mumbled, nuzzling further into his chest, lightly tracing the patterns permanently drawn onto his skin.

"Still not as perfect as you." He said, kissing my temple, wrapping blankets around us, and cuddling me closer as the movie began.

Before I knew it, the soft hush of the movie, the light hum if Austin's breathing, and the warmth of our bed lulled me into a much needed sleep.

I was woken up by the morning light seeping through the curtains, and was immediately stricken with a cold atmosphere, I reached over to find Austin no longer by my side.

With a groan, I attempted to lift my sire body up out of bed, when I heard footsteps coming down the hall. Assuming it was Austin, I laid back in bed, closing my eyes.

"baby." I heard Austin call out as the door creaked open. "Wake up."

"I am up." I grumbled, opening my eyes, and sitting up to find a very shirtless Austin holding a tray of assorted breakfast foods.

"You made me breakfast?" I chimed, instantly in a better mood.

"Mhm." He beamed. "And I even managed to do it without burning the house down!"

"God I love you." I cooed, motioning for him to sit with me, as we shared the food, occasionally feeding each other, laughing when we failed to do so successfully.

"I love you more."

Sure, I hated being sick as much as the next guy, but at least I had the love of my life to take of me.
