We walked into the dinning room, a few of my cousins and aunt and uncle were sitting around the table, the rest of the people were outside. Everyone standing up to come over to me, I made my rounds of hugs and shed a few more tears. "Everyone's probably wondering who's this" I said turning to look up at Drew, about that time my cousins wife and her sister came threw the back door..

"Well this is Drew everybody, a good friend of mine I met threw rodeo, he was nice enough to give up his earnings at the rodeo and bring me home.."

Drew tipped his hat and everybody said hello. And of course my cousins wife Jamie and her sister Mary had to come say hello.. 

"Drew this is Jamie and Mary" I said turning to look at him and giving him a irritated look.

"Nice to meet you" Jamie said already giving him the flirty eyes.

"Come on I have someone I want you to meet" I said taking Drews hand and pulling him towards the living room.

My Grandma was sitting on the couch with my great Aunt Flo and her husband Dave. I smiled as I approached them. 
"Mema" I said and she got up to hug me. I couldn't help but feel for her, her and grandpa had been together for forever. I can't imagine what she feels.

"Mema I have someone I want you to meet" Drew already had taken his hat off. "Mema this is Drew, Drew this is my grandma Darlene"

"It's a pleasure to Meet you Darlene" Drew said taking her hand.

"Call me Mema like everyone else sweetie" Mema said giving him a hug.

I smiled at the sight, at least one person in my family likes him. We walked out of the living room and back into the kitchen to get some drinks. Dinner was about ready, just waiting on the guys to bring the meat in from the grill. Drew excused himself to go to the restroom
And I took that time to go into the backyard to talk to the guys.

"Listen yall I'm sorry about earlier, but he gave up his rodeo spot and big label deal just to bring me here.. So the Least yall could to is be nice!.." I looked at both my brothers. "Understood?" I asked again.

"Kaelyn listen we were in the wrong, we're sorry okay? Dad told us about him and were willing to give him a shot. Anything for little sister" Lucas stated and Kyler agreed.

"Thank you!"  I pulled them in a hug.

The back door opened and Drew walked out. I smiled and met him halfway.

"Hey" I smiled

I went to the restroom and when I came back Kaelyn was outside. She was probably talking to her brothers about earlier I imagine. I was about to walk out when Mrs. Ray stopped me.

"Drew honey can you reach this for me?" She asked leading me into the kitchen.

"Sure thing"

I reached the top shelf pulling out a frying pan. I handed it to her and looked around the room. There were two ladies about mrs. Rays age and a few older. I smiled when i caught them looking at me.

"You must be that handsome fella Monika was talking about" one of the older woman said.

I turned and looked at the woman with a smile I took my hat off and reached my hand out. 

"Drew Holbrook"

"Kaelyn found herself a real cowboy Now" another woman chimed in.

"We're just friends" I added
