Hetic Morning

I woke up in my bed covered up with my jeans and everything still on. My head was pounding and the sunlight was blinding me threw the window.. I got up and closed the curtain realizing I was in Jaclyn and Kylie's room. I grabbed my boots and threw them into the spare bedroom. I walked to the bathroom stripped down and got in the shower..

After I got out of the shower and wrapped in a towel I realized that Drew was downstairs and I didn't have clothes to change into.. I prayed he was still asleep and ran to the bedroom where my clothes were. Shutting the door and taking a deep breath I walked to my drawer and pulled out a pair of jeans and a tshirt. I got dressed and left my hair down to dry. Walking downstairs I saw Drew sound asleep on the couch. His boots next to the couch and his hat over them. I couldn't help but smile. Waylon and Sadie were both laying on the couch with him sound asleep.

My Phone started buzzing in my back pocket, I pulled it out and it was Ty. I walked out to the back patio and answered.

"Hello?"

"Hey how is everything?"

"Getting ready to go up to the hospital and pull the ventilator plug and see how it goes" I said getting a lump in My throat.

The other end of the line was silent..
"Ty?"

"I'm so sorry Kaelyn.. I wish I could be there for yall! The rodeo ends tonight and we will be there as soon as we can!"

"Thank you Ty.. Yall be careful tonight and bring home the big win! I love you and tell Justin I love him too! I see yall when you get here!"

"Hang in there kae.. Stay strong I'll talk to you later, we love you too"

We hung up and I turned around and walked back in the house. It was 8:34am. We were all meet up at the hospital at 11. I walked into the kitchen grabbing a glass of water. Drew stirred on the couch looking up to see where he was at. I smiled and told him good morning.

Drew

I woke up and couldn't figure out where the hell I was. I looked around and then once I spotted Kaelyn I knew I was at her house. I sighed laying my head back down and rubbing the sleep out of my eyes.

"Good morning" she said

"Mornin" i said yawning.

I laid there for a minute before sitting up. I ran my fingers threw my hair trying to wake myself up. I looked up at her and she was off in her own thoughts. I got up and went to the restroom and took care of my business.

I walked back out to the kitchen and she had a cup of coffee waiting for me on the counter.

"Thank you" I said grabbing it and taking a drink.

"We only had enough for a few cups. Like I said last night we need to go to the store"

I nodded my head and went to sit back down on the couch. I'm not really a morning person and I don't wanna snap at Kaelyn. I looked over at her again and she was back in her own little world.. I shook my head. 'Poor girl' i thought to myself. After a while I got my clothes and went to take a shower to help me wake up.

I couldn't stop thinking about my grandpa.. I wasn't ready for him to go no not yet.. He was my best friend, i grew up helping him with everything. We even played games on his computer when I was younger, I'd help him with anything he asked me for and more, we were best friends and I'm not ready to let him go..
