Morning had come the roosters were crowing and the sun was starting to rise through the trees. Justin was curled up next to me on the blanket, we must've fallen asleep at some point last night talking. He looked so peaceful laying there softly snoring with his shirt still undone from last night.. my cheeks went a shade of red remembering every word he told me last night, he wanted me just as bad as I wanted him but he was a gentlemen and wanted my parents permission first.

"Good morning sleepy head" I said as he softly opened his eyes stretching and waking up

"What time is it" he said half grinning and rubbing his eyes

"No idea but I would assume around six thirty in the morning" I laughed

He got up really fast putting his boots on and buttoning his shirt up, running his fingers threw his hair and putting his hat on.

"Darlin we gotta go I got work to get done and a rodeo to ride in at noon" he said pulling me up to my feet

"But first" he said pulling me close to him and softly kissing me "Good morning beautiful" he smirked grabbing my hand and walking us to the four wheeler.

We got back up to the house he was dropping me off then going to get whatever he had to get done before the rodeo finished. Drew was walking out the door as I was walking up to it.

"Long night?" He smirked

"I'm sure it was nothing like yours" I grinned as he turned a shade of red.

"Kae is in the shower you better go get yourself dressed for the day were leaving in about an hour" he said as he walked off

I walked in the house back to the room I was staying in and picked out what I was gonna wear to the rodeo. I figured a flannel and a nice pair of jeans would work.

I heard Kae in the kitchen and I went go find her.

"Sleep go.. those aren't your pjs where were you last night?" She said looking me up and down

I blushed "me and Justin went down by the river and laid and blanket out and talked and fell asleep at some point"

"I dont believe you" she looked me up and down again smirking

"Trust me Kae that's all that happened he wouldn't take it any further than a simple kiss without mom and dad's permission"

"Well thats the right way to handle it, I'm proud of him"

I rolled my eyes "you're talking like a mom or something now"

I walked back to my room grabbed my clothes and went to take a shower.

Drew

Me and Justin got all the livestock fed and watered and picked up the leftovers and trash from last night's party.

"I thought you were gonna kill that poor guy last night, id never seen you so mad before"

"He was saying some things he definitely shouldn't of been saying towards Charlotte" Justin mumbled

"Men will be men" I laughed

We finished hauling off the rest of the trash to the burn pile all that was left to do was move the tables back to the barn.

"So you think her parents will kill me" Justin asked

I laughed "I remember that feeling.." "they're good people and you're good people you ought to be fine"

"I hope so I don't know what id do If they told me no" he said shaking his head

"She's a pretty girl" I agreed "but that's my future sister in law so don't go breaking her heart" I warned
