Drew
I walked her through the barn and introduced her to all the horses.. Showed her the tack room, and then walked her around the barn to the pasture where the cattle were grazing. Then explained to her how my property went around and over the hill with a little creek running through one side and the river comes through the other. I told her some of the ideas I have that I would like to do, such as building a new house somewhere on the river front and upgrading the barn and turning my home now to the guest house so that was ill have two.. She seemed to love it out here and I was thankful.
"My house is a little outdated I'll remind you" I said as we walked to the door.
"Drew it's nice I like it" she said and looked up at me. Bitting her lip softly I clinched my jaw and opened the door resisting the urge that she triggered deep inside me.
We walked down the hallway to the kitchen and then the living room, then down the hall to where the three guest bedrooms were and then I walked her back to where my bedroom and master bath was hidden on the other side of the kitchen.
"This would be my room" I said looking down at her as she looked around
"I love your decor and furniture.. You got good taste Mr. Holbrook" she grinned
"I try and go for the rustic cowboy look" I grinned back and winked.
We walked back to the kitchen and I got her a glass of sweet tea.
"So I can place your bags in one of the spare rooms of your choice for now" I questioned.
"That would be fine" she nodded.
She followed me back out to the truck and slipped her back pack on her back and I grabbed her main suitcase and she got her pillows.
Meeting us at the door was Waylon and Sadie.
I smiled
We walked to the spare bedroom and she placed her things on the bed. She picked the room with the tv and bathroom connected to it. I don't blame her.
We walked back to the kitchen and sat down at the bar.
"So now the question is what would you like for supper" I said opening the fridge.
"You should know I don't like to choose" she sighed
"You're my guest we have whatever you would like Kaelyn, you don't have to be shy around me you should know that" I frowned.
"Fine okay what do you got" she said grinning
I smiled opening the fridge once more.
"We could have burgers, ribs, steak, chicken, you name it I got it.. Justin went and stocked up on everything today and I don't say that lightly I think he bought the whole store" I laughed
"Mmm ribs sound good" she said looking at me grinning
"Then what's what we'll have"
The front door opened and I heard boots clanking across the floor and I knew it would be Justin. I got the rack of ribs out along with some canned green beans, and I figured we could have baked potatoes also.
Kaelyn
It's been a long day but I'm finally starting to relax. Drews place is really nice, I was honestly surprised because I was expecting a lot worse..
