Suprise

Hey y'all Thinkin I might add Kyles pov in a few chapters.. Just heads up!

Kaelyn

Me and the girls lined up along the fence line and watched the rodeo until it was time to go get ready..

Kyle texted me earlier and asked if we could talk after the rodeo since it was our last night in town I agreed. He was to meet me in the barn after the rodeo was over by Weston's stall.

I walked back to the barn to make sure Weston was ready for tonight, I gave him a treat and kissed his nose. "You got this baby boy" I whispered and hugged him. I love this horse more than anything in the world.

"Get ready girls it's show time" the announcer started.

I saddled up and made sure everything was right, I road out to the gate opening. I saw Kyle sitting up on the far end of the area with the rest of the bull riders. He smiled over at me but I looked down like I didn't see.

I got in line and waited for my turn to come, the girls were doing really good tonight but I knew my baby Weston wouldn't let me down.. I rubbed his head and kissed em. "We got this baby" I whispered. My turn was up next, I got myself set and sent up a quick prayer before I heard the gun shot going off..

With all my heart and soul I made those three left turns finishing strong and we were sprinting fast out the arena..

"With an amazing score of 14.13 Kaelyn Ray Hunter is in the lead"

I smiled and road into the barn to give Weston his food and a special treat. I unsaddled him and turned around to get his feed.

"Well well well if it ain't my favorite rider in the world.." I heard a males voice behind me.

I turned around quickly to see Drew.

"Oh my gosh!" I somewhat hollered

He grinned big

"What are you doing here and what the hell happened to you!?!"

After her ride I couldn't wait to go see her any longer so I decided and went ahead and walked to the barn. She was unsaddling Weston and then getting his food when I walked up.

"Well well well if it ain't my favorite rider in the world" I grinned

She turned around on a dime

"Oh my gosh!"

I grinned and winked at her leaning on the stall.

"What're you doing here and what the hell happened to you?!" She questioned coming out if the stall.

"Well I was gonna come surprise you yesterday but I had this little accident" I said pointing to the sling my arm was in" so they kept me in the hospital over night and I got out this mornin and me and Justin came cause I wanted to come see you"

I leaned off the stall and she came and wrapped her arms around me softly..

"Are your ribs wrapped up!?" She question backing up.

"Yes it's okay you ain't gonna hurt me" I said hugging her a little tighter.

"What happened" she asked worried

"Well I was training this new mare or trying too and I was trying to rush it because I was wanting to come see you and I guess between Justin on the tractor and everything she spooked and stomped me a few times.."

"Drew" she gasped "you.. your head??" She questioned.

"I know I'm okay" I said looking in her eyes to reassure her.

Weston stuck his head over the stall and nudged my back, I turned and loved on him a little. She finished getting his food and everything and then we walked out to catch the rest of the bull riding. Her ex Kyle was riding tonight and she told me a little how they talked and what night.. Kinda made me a little on the edge because I didn't know the feelings that were between them. But I didn't say anything just let it go because she ain't mine.

"I'm suppose to meet with Kyle after he rides and were suppose to talk about meeting up back at home and going to visit our little boy" she spoke softly

I stopped when she said that. She told me she didn't have any kids?

"What?" I questioned kinda stunned

"It's not like that" she whispered

I gulped not sure what to say looking at her

"It was years ago Drew.. I had a miscarriage" she said trying to hold back her tears.

"Oh my Kaelyn I'm sorry I.. I didn't know" I felt bad for getting angry.

"I know you didn't Drew, I never knew how to bring it up to you.. And his birthday is coming up and we always go put flowers and a little toy there each year" she said looking down at the ground.

I looked up at the sky not really knowing what to say or do.. All of a sudden I felt arms lightly wrap around me.. I looked down and it was Kaelyn I wrapped my arms around her and held her there for a moment. After she gathered herself back up she wiped her tears away and stepped backwards. We walked to the concession stands and she got herself a beer before she had to go meet Kyle..

I waited by the trailers as she went and they talked. I hadn't really got a good look at him until tonight. Brown hair, he wasn't a bad lookin guy.. A little taller than me and muscular. No doubt he was a real cowboy.. I could see Kaelyn being with him at one time. I could tell by just looking at him and the way he talked to her that he still had feelings for her..

After they got done talking Kaelyn made her way back over towards me and we were gonna go out to eat tonight. Me, her, Justin, Ty, and the other Justin.

We found a local restaurant downtown San Antone, had the best burgers and steak around in my opinion.. We all sat at the big booth in the corner and ordered ourselves a beer..

Short little update

Sorry it took a while had a family friend pass.
