I walked out the door with Tyler and we went to the barn to talk.. I had no idea what was gonna happen or how we were going to find out if I really was relation.

"How are we going to find all this out" I stopped in my tracks and waited for him to answer.

"Well we have to make a trip to Huntsville prison and get a blood test done" he responded

"They ain't just gonna let us walk in the prison and demand a blood test"

"I'm already ahead of you" he said "I called and they said they'd send one over to the hospital"

"So why do we have to drive all the way up there?"

He shuffled through some papers and then his phone rang and he walked out. I don't get why they're making us drive all the way up there when the hospitals could just do this all in their little fancy computer systems..

I mean I already and am damn sure I am not his son.. and lord help me if I am.. I saw a picture a mug shot of what I'm assuming was their dad.. I looked nothing like him or them for that matter.

"Alright you're right they will transfer the blood tests down here all we need to do is go get some blood drawn in Corpus"

"I can go do that now" I said getting up

"No you ain't breakfast is on the table waiting get in there and eat before it gets cold" Kaelyn spoke from the doorway.

"Yes ma'am" I whispered and walked past her.

Ty followed and Justin was already at the table with some other guy I recognized but wasn't sure who it was. I placed my hat on the back of my chair and said grave before digging in. Kaelyn really did make the best biscuits and gravy if I said so myself.

I scarfed it down and drank my full glass of milk, I felt like I was gonna explode and all I wanted to do was take a nap cause I slept horrible last night, but I knew I needed to go get that test done.

I grabbed my hat and keys and walked out the door. Kaelyn was walking back to the house and stopped when she saw me..

"I'll be back in a little while"

She smiled "I'll come along let me throw a different pair of jeans on"

"I think you look good the way you are" I winked

She rolled her eyes and walked in the house ignoring my judgement. She was in her work jeans and a black tank top with her hair in a pony tale with strands of straw sticking out. Looked like a ranch girl and I loved it.

She walked out of the house wearing the same thing and she had on she just had grabbed her wallet. I opened her door for her than got in myself.

"Shit I forgot my hat" she said as we pulled onto the highway

I grinned and pointed to the dash where my bull riders do it better hat was.
"Go on and wear that one it'll look good on ya"

She grabbed it and adjusted it to her head, she looked sexy as hell in my hat I'll admit..

Kaelyn

We pulled into the hospital parking lot as I walked in with him. He told the resectionist what he was there for and she tried flirting with him.. I overheard her say 'I'll keep that number handy' when he was asked for his information..

I walked up beside him and wrapped my arm around him.

"Did you get everything babe" I asked as she was turned around waiting for his file to print.
