No More I Love You

I packed my bag, loaded up Sadies food and left a note for Justin on the door for in the morning. I had to get down south and see her as soon as I could.. it's driving me crazy not talking to her, I should've never stayed away in the first place..

"Sadie load up" I hollered and she came running outta the house

"Good girl" I kissed her head and closed the door.

I went back inside and made sure I had everything. My hat, my wallet, my phone, meds, and everything Sadie would need. I locked the house up and headed out the driveway.

I tried calling her phone again but it rang and went to voicemail.. this time I left one. 'Kaelyn please call me as soon as you get this.. I'm worried about you.. I love you. Whatever is going on we are going to get through it. I'll be there soon.. please let me know you're okay..' I hung up and floored it down the hills of the Texas hill country.

"Sadie you better hold on baby" I half laughed

I got into town and pulled up to the only gas station opened, A Stripes. I started pumping the gas and then walked inside. I grabbed myself a few redbulls and a bag of chips and some jerkey for the ride. It was going to be a long night I could tell.

"Where you goin at this time of night Mr. Holbrook" the cashier asked

I recognized her from the little bar down the road, she's hit on me a few times and if I remember correctly I might've went to her house once or twice after me and Ashley broke up.. I shook me head.

"I gotta go get my girl"

"So it is true someone finally got you to settle down"

"Yes ma'am" I said and took out twenty dollars to pay.

"So I recon no more late night visits" she put a pouty face on.

"I recon so" I took my change and walked out the door.

Last thing I wanted was to stand there and flirt with a bar fly. What the hell was I thinking why did I ever hook up with that.. or did I just pass out cause I drunk.. I shook my head as I got back in the truck after hanging up the gas hose. I got Sadie some water and I turned the ignition on and head in down the highway.

"So you brought this up to Drew without me knowing?"

"I didn't.. we didn't know how to tell you" ty said

"So he probably is scared shitless thinking he's in love with his cousin!" I hollered

"No no, we haven't told him about what you have got to do with all of it, he just thinks me and Justin are his brothers."

I shook my head.. "this is just great" I mumble and got out of the truck and walked down to the water.

It was a nice night out the stars were out and the moon was bright, one of those nights where you didn't need any light to see cause the moon light guided the way.. I slipped off my boots and rolled up my pants and walked into the water.. it was a hot night in south Texas and the water felt amazing. I wanted nothing more than to strip down and go for a swim but that all felt awkward now knowing Ty could be or is family..

Before or usually when we come down here me and Ty would drink a few beers and go get in the river. Sometimes I'd skinny dip sometimes I'd wear my swimsuit but now that changes everything.. makes me cringe inside.. Me and Ty have always had a good relationship or friendship, we've had our little flings before but nothing ever came out of it..
