Beginners Luck

Not so good first date?

I wasn't quite sure about that Luke guy and i didn't really like the way he looked at Kaelyn but then again who was I to say anything about it. She's single and its her call to who she wants to date.. I got in the truck and she was looking at her phone smiling. I figured it was one of her friends from back home and shrugged it off. Soon after I put the truck in gear she put her phone on the truck console. I looked over at her with a smile and she was already looking at me. I winked at her before turning my attention back on the road.

"Do we need to go move your things over to my room first?"

"That would probably be the best idea" she said laughing which made me smile.

Once we pulled up to the hotel we walked up to her room but she realized the the boys had the room key so I ran downstairs to ask the lady for another room key. 'Great' I mumbled once I realized it was the one girl that always try's to flirt with me..

"Hi how can I help you?"

"Yeah uh I just need a room key for 319" 

"I'm sorry I can't give you other people's room keys but I can give you mine"

I looked at her a narrowed my eyes. "I'll be right back" I said pushing off he counter and going back up to Kaelyn.  "The lady down there said she can't give me your key.. And it's also your favorite worker" I said winking. Kaelyn rolled her eyes and we headed towards the elevator.

We got back to the lobby and I walked up to the counter. "Can I get a room key to 319 please" I asked

"This is the last time I will be able to help you with room keys you already have to many"

I looked back at Drew clinching my jaw. She went to find the key and I walked back towards Drew. He put his hands on my shoulders and looked me in the eyes and I smiled.

"It's gonna be okay" he whispered

I nodded and I really wanted to lean up to kiss him but I held back and turned around waiting for the lady to come back with my 'last' card. When she did I walked up and grabbed the card walking away. She then asked Drew if she could help him with anything, out of shock he replied with "no thanks you already helped my girlfriend out" I hit the button to the elevator and looked at the girls shocked expression and smiled.

"Girlfriend huh" I teased

"If I recall you already used me as your boyfriend once so it's only fair" he said with a wink.

I sighed and walked into the elevator and pushed the 3rd floor. We got in the room finally and the dogs were as happy as ever! Drew played with Waylon while I got my things gathered up.

"Do you care if I bring Waylon over with me?"

"Not at all! Sadie won't mind either!"

I smiled and put more food out for cowgirl. We carried my things over to Drews room and Sadie was happy to me see but more happy to see Waylon. 

"They'll probably tear the room up while were gone" Drew said laughing.

I shrugged and put my bags on the bed while he went to the restroom I changed my shirt real fast. Buttoning it up as he walked out he started grinning. 

"Now you make me feel like I need to change my shirt"

"Nope" I shook me head "cowboys look good when they're dirty" I said and laughed when he raised his eyebrows.
