Today I heard my woman say something
I never heard her say before
She just told me that she was going to leave me
and that she didn't love me anymore

I sat there listening to the jukebox after Kaelyn brought to my attention she was goin to leave if I didn't straighten up.. As I sipped my beer memories flooded threw my mind. The happy times, we were so young and in love at all the rodeos, and now we just lost our first child.. I just can't bare the heart ache I can't bare seeing Kaelyn hurt it tears me  apart Knowing there's nothing I can do about it..

"Would you like another one Kyle?" The bartender holly asked

"One more" I said leaning towards the barn.

She bright me another bud light and went on with her shift, she was a pretty young thing. Had two kids if her own and just recently went through a break up with her ol man. She's flirted with me but I can't bring myself to do anything about it, I'm so numb inside that nothing really matters to me at the moment.

I need to come to my senses and get back home to Kaelyn but it just hurts so bad and I'm not man enough to do so..

But I know that the loving kindness
and the understanding that she had when I first met her
Is still there, somewhere
So I'm gonna get down on my knees and I'm gonna say to my baby

The jukebox went on singing ol Conway coming through the speakers.. Coupled around me were dancing on the dance floor, some were enjoying a night out relaxing at the tables, some outside under the stars. I remembered when me and Kaelyn use to love this little honky tonk bar, we'd come in and dance the night away..

I sighed and walked myself to the restroom. I needed to freshen up a little somehow. I splashed water on my face and straightened my shirt up, retucked it in my jeans and put my cowboy hat back on my head. I walked out to the bar grabbed my phone which had 6 missed calls from Kaelyn put it in my pocket grabbed a mint and walked out of the bar.

I got in my truck and headed towards home, my truck was on E but I didn't care I just knew I needed to get home before Kaelyn had left.. I pushed my luck and headed out on the highway that lead towards home.. That old song still playing over and over in my mind.

I pulled in my drive her truck was still there but the doors open and her stuff was almost all packed in it. Clothes hung over the side. I parked where I always parked got out and slowly took a deep breath in and out.

She came out with another load of clothes and threw it in the bed of her truck..

"You bastard!" She hollered as she walked back in the house
