Fawn woke up the next day before Isabella did. She felt guilty and couldn't go back to sleep. So Fawn stood up, grabbed her cell phone, and went downstairs so she wouldn't wake Isabella up. She dialed the number and put the phone up to her ear.
It rang...

"Hello?" said the groggy voice. The voice took a sip of their drink, probably coffee. "I wasn't expecting a call from you yet. Especially not this early."
Fawn smiled, tears forming in her eyes. "Hi. I'm sorry, Mom..."

That day Fawn decided that she was going to just talk to her mom. So she went to her house and they talked. Just...talked.
"I am really, really sorry, Mom," Fawn had said. "I just...was angry... But...no more secrets. Okay?"
Marissa nodded. "Yes, of course. You were right to be angry. I'm sorry..."
"Apology accepted, Mom." Fawn smiled. Fawn and Marissa hugged each other. It was a long, tight hug.
"Hey, Mom?" Fawn asked as they hugged.
"Yeah, sweetie?"
"I wanna meet my brother and sister."
Marissa nodded. "Okay. We can do that. Do you want me there or...?"
"Um. Well...I don't know... I'll figure something out with them..."
"Okay..."
