(Picture is of an older Joseph II and Coletta.)

Fawn and Isabella slowly walked over to the Smith family. As they got closer, Fawn moved closer to Isabella. She put her arm around Isabella's waist to reach the brass knuckles she hid in her jeans pocket. She just wanted the Smiths to think that she had her arm around her waist like a girlfriend. Isabella did the same thing with Fawn, only in Fawn's pocket was a gun.

They walked closer to Isabella's family, and saw Joseph look up from the fire. "My, my. If it isn't my stepdaughter and her girlfriend."

Isabella stiffened next to Fawn. Fawn's hands went into fists as Violeta looked up at them.

"Oh," Violeta said with a sneer on her face. "You're here again..."

"Mother, I –"

"Now, now, Violet," Joseph interrupted Isabella, calling Violeta by her English name. "If she's happy with her girlfriend you should be happy too."

Fawn and Isabella stared at Joseph.

"Did Joseph just say something...not prejudice?!" Fawn asked.

"I think he did..." Isabella answered.

"Huh. So the worst person in the world's actually...okay?"

"Well, aside from him being racist and trying to destroy the whole world."

Fawn nodded. "Yeahhh, there's that."

"Quiet, you!" Joseph growled. "You'll wake the kids!"

Isabella and Fawn looked down at the ground. Laying near Joseph's feet was his stepson that inherited his name. His eyes (which Isabella and Fawn both remembered were light blue like Violeta's) were shut as he napped peacefully. His light red hair shone brightly in the sun. Near him, yet closer to Violeta, was Coletta. Coletta's dark blue eyes were slightly open, and looked quite a bit like her father's. Her head of dark hair was disheveled.

Fawn smiled. Though she didn't like to admit it, they were adorable. To be fair, they were just kids. It wasn't their fault who their parents were.

Isabella gave a half smile, then frowned. She glared at Joseph. "Enough of this. Joseph. Violeta. We are here to negotiate surrender."

Joseph raised an eyebrow. "Surrender? Who said I was surrendering?"

Isabella grabbed the gun out of Fawn's pocket, cocked the gun, and aimed it at Joseph. Fawn didn't know that Isabella's hand could move as fast as they did. Isabella smirked at Joseph, whose eyes were wide as he stared at the gun and his hands raising in a sort of surrender. "I think this will help you say you surrender..."

Joseph's hands lowered slowly as he stood up just as slow. "Oh, Isabella... I don't surrender to anyone."

Isabella tightened her jaw. "Oh? Maybe I can change your mind." Isabella quickly moved the gun and where she was aiming it. She aimed it at her younger siblings.

"Mija!" Violeta said quickly, standing up and running towards her. Her arms were in front of her, her palms outstretched as if telling her to stop. "Please...por favor... Don't do it... Please..."

Isabella glared at her mother. "And why should I listen to you, you ella demonio." Isabella spat on the ground.

Violeta sneered at her daughter. "I was right to try to kick you out of the house, lesbian or not... You're a despicable person..."

Isabella moved the gun and aimed it at Violeta. "No. I'm not." She shot her mother on the shoulder. "If I shot you any farther to your left...sure. If I shot my brother and sister...sure."

Violeta screamed as she grabbed at her shoulder. She collapsed to the ground. "Joseph...mi amor..."

Joseph sneered at Isabella again. "Leave now, or you'll be sorry you hadn't."

Fawn saw three figures moving out of Joseph's spaceship. Fawn decided to buy them some more time.

Fawn stepped forward towards Joseph. "Whatcha gonna do about it?"

Joseph looked at Fawn. "Why? You scared, you little whore?"

Fawn tightened her hand into a fist over her brass knuckles, and punched Joseph in the face. He staggered back, grabbing his nose.

Joseph gave a half smile. "Leave. Now. Before I set my secret weapon on you..."

Fawn relaxed as she saw that her friends had made it out of the spaceship safely. "Fine. We will. But next time we see you, you should be afraid."

Joseph straightened up. "Oh please..."
