Marisa and Fawn called Tyler on Marissa's phone on speaker after they finished hugging.

"Yello?" Tyler said.

"Hi, Tyler," Marissa said. "It's me. Fawn's with me, too."

"Well hello, Fawn," Tyler said.

"Hello, Tyler!" Fawn said. "So, I was wondering if you and your sister wanted to have dinner with me sometime. To maybe get to know each other a little bit."

"Oh yeah, of course! I'd love that. Layla has a busier schedule than I do, so you should contact her, and if you come up with a date let me know and I'll see if I can make it."

"Okay great! Thanks!"

"No problem."

And with that the call ended. Marissa then called Layla.

"Hiya Momma!" Layla said. "How's it going?"

"Oh, pretty well, thank you," Marissa said. "So listen, do you remember your sister, Fawn?"

"Yes?"

"Well she's here with me right now."

"Hi! I'm Fawn! Nice to finally meet you, kinda."

Layla giggled. "Nice to kinda meet you too!"

"So, I was wondering if you and your brother would like to have dinner with me sometime so that way we could get to know each other a little bit."

"Oh, yeah, I'd like that! Friday's the next day I'm available, if that works?"

"Fine by me! I'll just have to double check with Tyler."

"Okay, cool! So is it okay if I bring my fiancé with me, or no?"

"Oh, no, of course! Of course! As long as you don't mind me bringing along my girlfriend."

"Oh no, of course not! So, I'll see you Friday?"

"Hopefully, yes."

"Okay cool! Bye Fawn! It was nice talking to you!"

"And you!"

Friday had finally come. The day that Fawn would officially meet her brother and sister. She picked up her light purple shirt to put it on when she spoke to Isabella.

"I'm nervous."

Isabella finished putting her black leggings on. "How come?"

Fawn out her shirt on before answering. "Well... Because... I grew up as an only child. And then I found out I had two half-siblings who were full siblings. Now I have two other half-siblings who are full siblings. They're used to the whole sibling thing! I'm new to it. Just imagine not having any siblings!"

"Hold up. That's gonna be tough..." Isabella thought for a minute. "Okay. I can."

"Now imagine that over the course of about four years they tell you that you're siblings."

Isabella bared her teeth. "Ay-ay-ay. That's, uh... That would be kinda rough."

"Exactly. And also, they're kinda a part of my mom's life. So they kinda have to be a part of mine too."

Isabella looked at Fawn sympathetically, then walked over to her. "Bebita...mi amor..." Isabella moved a strand of hair behind Fawn's ear. "It's all gonna be okay. I promise, cariño."

Fawn nodded. "Gracias, chica."

Isabella kissed Fawn's forehead before Fawn hugged her. "Anytime."
